"Heard a report last night on the radio that OSAM bin LADEN may be on his way from Afghanistan to Iraq"

There are a few thousand marines and GI's that would love to give him a welcome :-)

They will even bring party poppers :

No not those kind these kind:

I heard something about that too and had a visual of osama's corpse being carted around to different battlefronts...kinda like Weekend @ Bernie's.

Our infrastructure is a very tempting target. I suspect that this type of stuff hasn't been done yet because Al Q. knows what kind of backlash it will start. Look at Britain, they are getting ready to deport Muslims after two attacks.

Like Katie would be caught dead in a "Little Peoples" Mall.

Was she wearing black today?

Why blow up a mall in Columbus?

They want to kill 5 people?

Just an observation, our malls are vulnerable. What would stop a terrorist hell bent on killing himself(and us)from driving a vehicle filled with explosives into a mall on a busy sat or sunday?

***Mall security can't stop shoplifters and skateboarders, much less an organized alQaeda cell.***

This is a job for the MALL NINJA!!

Those who read firearms web sites will know what I mean.

Not much ... but that could be noted about many many targets...

The point is why would NBC stir up ... ahem, 'terror', regarding a target that no one in gov't is currently pointing to?

I didn't check ... but I think it was whitish...

"The point is why would nbc stir up terror...?"My take is probably for ratings.News like that would tend to get people's attention.Maybe a secondary reason is to undermine morale, homeland security,GW,...

Well into the segment, Today had to admit that there was no evidence that any attacks on shopping malls had been attempted or even planned. But that didn't stop the show from offering up a predictable array of security guards purposefully making their rounds, banks of closed-circuit security monitors, and two lame shopper-in-the-street interviews with a man and a woman who both confessed that they don't worry about security while shopping in malls.

This is all about trying to get viewership and causing fear so people will tune into the news.

"Cousins! A plot to maim and destroy has been foiled! Stay tuned for further developments!
