You have to admit it's clever, even considering the likelihood that some of them are blonde. Yeah, I guess that's one way of looking at it ... I do have to admit that chances are they won't forget it.

As a cheerleader I'm a bit offended at how some people here are mocking the girls' way of remembering the license plate # of the hit and run vehicle. The cheers posted are funny as are some of the comments. But to say
"Like, they didn't think, you know, of writing the number down?" and "Or enter it on a cellphone"
It is possible that paper/pen/pencil were not readily availible. Also, I've been on some cheerleading trips where cell phones were not allowed.
Cheerleaders are not as dumb as you might like to think.
They remembered this jerk's license plate and reported it to the police; good for them.
