the jury may adjourn: i stand corrected...it was a video ...but i still distinctly recall the car--the color of the fender stood out easily...probably a video on her site or maybe even a link i picked up somewhere

Charles Croes was available with the Twittys that morning at the VDSs. I do not recall him stating that Joran admitted or stated that he sexually assaulted Natalee.
No he did not state that but he did say it had big implications or such...
If Joran admitted at that particular time that he sexually assualted Natalee he must be pretty brazen. And do you really think that he would have been left at his home unarrested that night, let alone Jug and/or some of his friends kicking Joran's ass on the spot?
I wondered about that -but remember the police asked them to leave when they became unruly..that may have triggered their having to leave...but what bothers me is I believe it was DH saying they became aware of this only a month ago..(maybe he didnt know till a month ago?)did their friends keep it to themselves? It could be Joran said she was passed out or intoxicated when he had sex with her, and they might not have realized at the time that is illegal(in the US) as you can't give consent when incapacitated...I sure would like to have more info as to exactly what was heard by whom...in any case it must be pure havoc for the family to live this nightmare. I actually can see Joran admitting it like so what (bragging) but couching it a little..

I dont recall who reported it but I am very sure it was reported they were asked to leave by the Polis...
IIRC, they were sitting in the car or standing there and people were talking all around them in either Dutch or the local patois, and they weren't understanding what was said. But maybe some of the people they had with them (including Charles?) DID understand and told them later.
And maybe Joran didn't actually admit to sexual assault, maybe he was tricked into admitting to sex with her and also separately for saying she was out of it, hence, he had his way with her when she was unable to consent, say. He may have been tricked into admitting those two facts because to him they might have sounded 200% more innocent than what really DID happen and he may have actually felt some guilt (confess to a smaller deed, feel better about yourself?). And it could have been around there when Paulus yells at him to not say a word.

It might have been Beth who said they were asked to leave the VDS home. I remember an interview where Beth said she couldn't believe it when they drove away from the VDS home that first night. She said more about that moment, but I can't recall it exactly. It seems like it was a sudden departure that took Beth by surprise and upset her a great deal. She wanted more answers and knew the answers were there with the three suspects. She felt like she was leaving Natalee behind. That's my best recall of what Beth said.
I think you might be real close to the truth of what went down. Recall Beth saying how Joran pounded his chest saying something along the lines of 'so what do you want me to do about it?' He was full of mocking pride. He very well could have admitted to more than he realized.
True, Charles Croes words are chilling. Thanks for pointing out the date he said these words. I notice he is firm in his statements. Not like he is speculating. He's almost Shango-like, only more clearly spoken.
Greta is on Jay Leno tonight. Talking about Natalee (she's so little, her feet are dangling, and not touching the floor)
