Frist traded his presidency bid for 30 pieces of Specter.

And all he'll get later from Arlen will be a Judas-kiss on the lips and a sneer.

IIRC he was in the Senate, and the family got a placeholder in there until Teddy was old enough to run -- the "family seat," you know.

Thanks for calling a spade a spade. "Vampires"

It has the right ring to it. To be honest, the word sort of "clicked" when I was hearing Arlen Specter being interviewed recently (in many ways, it was one of the creepier interviews I can recall). What bothers me now is that the interests of the infanticide industry have successfully co-opted much of the medical and research establishments. If something - even harvesting humans - will prolong the lives of those who are in power, we will see it happen.

"You've got your mind made up....one problem: you're wrong, Cheney will NOT run in 2008. Are you that naive to think that his serious health problems wouldn't become a major issue in the campaign?" THUS...the reason for 'Rice' on the ticket!

AND...speaking of being "naive", duhhhhh....

"The political landscap will be different, including the media....3 years is an eon in regards to the internet. Even more people will have turned away from TV and go to internet/blogs/FR to get their news. The conservative base will be rabid for a REAL conservative, border controls,(the demonRATs - aka; Hildabeast - will take this issue away from the GOP before they realize it with the help of the lamestream media) etc.

" THUS...the reason for 'Rice' on the ticket!"

LOL, so the american ppl would vote for Cheney amidst his numerous health problems knowing that if he dies of a heart attack Rice will take over? Puh-leeeeezze. It WONT happen!
Honestly, you better wake up because Cheney is NOT running in 08!!!

"(the demonRATs - aka; Hildabeast - will take this issue away from the GOP before they realize it with the help of the lamestream media) etc."

Oh, you are DEFINITELY right about this. However, that will be the fault of the GOP elite for not doing something sooner. The base has been rumbling about this for years now!

"I have three years to work on him! Don't give up on him yet."

- Thanks for this work you are doing, and keep it up!!! :-)
I think the entire GOP needs a swift kick in the backside from us pro-lifers.

I'm going to support whichever candidate is most pro-life; I like Allen, so I would be thrilled if he had an epiphany.
:-)

Yup, why always "Federal Money"?
Are private orgs.prevented from financing this research
now? Don't think so, as Cali has a massive program, right?
Don't know though.

Why always dip into the till?
Just say no money, please?
One time?
All these clowns are the same.
Is there anyone out there?

That is a crock. There are 63 clinical uses for adult stem cells right now. It is saving and easing the suffering of thousands of lives as we speak. Not ONE clinical use for embryonic stem cells exists.

mware is smack on!!!! A group of us pro-liers were having coffee Saturday morning when this Frist thing came up regarding embryonic stem cells. Someone in the group said the same thing as mware. We need to be shouting this from the rooftops. Take mware's statement and memorize it!!! Use it daily. Show Frist that we're not totaly brain dead yet....that there are enough of out there that will gladly tip his applecart over if he doesn't change his tune. My Senator is McConnell and I'm going to send him the same message.
