BTW our constitution has several amendments beside the the first which gaurantees us certain rights, even though those rights may not be spelled out in detail.
Among those rights are the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I guess that pursuit of course is up to what YOU think it should be.
I do not think queers should be married, I do think they should be able to express themselves on vanity plates as long as the wording is clean. Gaysrok is not a dirty expression except in some peoples minds. You evidently hate gays, and I can sympathize with that, but freedom is freedom. You have the right to critisize them, they have the right to say they rock.

Freedom is the deciding factor here, and yes if they can say they rock we can say we don't think so. If they allow this they can hardly strike down a plate that says gaysno. Of course each state is different and how one state rules will not affect another state.
BTW, most vanity plates are a matter of personal opinion, even religious ones. I have read a lot of freepers comments about how certain plates were banned until the people who wanted them put up a huge fight. These plates were religious in nature. Now, however, a person who wants to say gaysrok is critized and ostracized for expressing themselves. Double Standard.

There was a similar case with a license plate that got to the Vermont Supreme Court over a plate with the word "Irish" - the lady with the plate prevailed 3-2.
So true. As a father trying to raise kids these days, I don't want any plate which refers to sexual orientation. But if liberal administrative law judges want to take us down that route, I'd say a strong reaction is warranted.
My gay brother agrees. He said there's enough crap pushed into their little heads and doesn't think this should be too. The "gay movement" offends my brother as he believes his bedroom is no ones business.
