No problem. MS can just buy Vista, Inc., cherry pick its talent and close their doors Or better yet, drop the name, it's old fashioned and not very unique or original. When I hear the name, I think of that ugly car from the 70's (or 80's or whatever).

It is curious that nobody at microsoft asked that question, nor anyone that reported it.

HAHAHHAHHAHAHA!!!
Good find!!
I actually used to like that show when it first came out ... but it really sucked the last couple of years and I stopped watching it.
You know, no matter how hard I tried, everytime I saw "Red", all I could think of was the bad guy he played in RoboCop.

Would you want to be the one to admit you thought of the name "Vista" and than forgot to see if it was copyrighted?
I'm sure that intern is probably not working there any longer.

how about eWindows? (everything is "e" these days)
how about Windows Panorama?
I think Vista Inc has real reason to be concerned because people do not say WindowsXP, they say "XP" (or 98, ME)
in short Vista, Inc. is screwed. Everyone is going to thing MS bought them.
To: softwarecreator
That's OK. I know what you mean about MS bashers, but honestly I am not one of them. I'd much rather an American company such as MS be successful than say, a foreign Linux distro. ;-)

Personally, I think Kurtwood Smith is one of the best actors going, and his guest appearance on Star Trek - Voyager was a real tour de force. He was on his game.
If you haven't seen that episode, it is really worth hunting down, he's great.

Note to MS: Drop the name. It isn't worth the bad publicity and the name is not exactly cutting edge.
Booooring.

Maybe the intern should apply to work at Vista.

Gates, if you're reading this, it's not too late. "Windows Drill" has a great cadence to it. I may not be for sale but I might be for rent...
To: Mad Mammoth
I think Kurtwood Smith is one of the best actors I agree, he is great, unfortunately he was so convincing in RoboCop, and one the the best "villians" ever in it, that I just can't shake it.
Got this from IMDB: Has played three different characters in Star Trek.
Not a Star Trek fan, so I wouldn't know.

"Windows Drill" has a great cadence to it. Maybe they could cater to the "gay" crowd with it.
I'd go with "Windows: The Final Chapter" if it were up to me ... enough is enough.

Metro is the codename for Microsoft's next generation document format, which is based on XML. Interesting... OpenOffice has been working on that very thing for their upcoming 2.0 release.
