With all the beautiful places to vacation right here in America, I don't know why anyone would even consider taking a vacation elsewhere. Heck, you don't even need to fly for pete's sake! Just jump in your car and drive!

Are you at all familiar with this region which is to become a resort? Is there a sizable population of Persians who will be uprooted and moved elsewhere?
I'd love to visit Persia but not like this....yikes.

Please tell me, how many different 'tribes' or ethnic peoples are there in Iranian society? It's difficult for me to imagine the same people who lived in a sophisticated, modern Iran in the 70's would now roll up in tens of thousands swearing their lives away for terrorist bomber attacks on 'evil infidels' - being POOR doesn't make one a potential mass-murderer, does it?
These groups of women must have some ethnic loyalty - or be utterly brainwashed. The fanatics in Iran are making a huge mistake if they think the West is going to be afraid of this development. My reaction is revulsion.
