Could be just the unstable but unexploded remains of the bus bomb. Since they've said this bus bomb appears to be of same design as the bus bomb of 7/7, that would strongly suggest that it didn't fully explode(given the roof is still intact.)

I think you mean Kelly_2000. She has posted that today. It appears we have two who know someone in that hospital, and another FReeper who is 10 min. away from one of the tubes that was involved. He has posted a couple of times today. (Killing Time) He seems safe, but commented that the "tone" of the warnings seems more serious than he recalled on 7/7. I suspect we will learn just how serious as time goes on.

There is some chatter about biological/chemical attack...if that is why the area around the bus is being evacuated, etc. The Brits have a way of making things appear calm, even when they are not. I guess it is from years of practice. I, for one, am praying that there is nothing more severe that happens.

In the spirit of "conspiracy-think" I'd suggest they were dummy-bombs used to distract authorities while doing a Big Bad Thing somewhere else.

Other than that...I can't imagine- I also heard the bombs were made from the same stuff as the 07/07 bombs- and that they had poor quality "stuff"...hence the lack of firepower.
