Tucker's mother, Barbara Fair, of the New Haven-based People Against Injustice, was in a meeting about reforming the criminal justice system when she learned of her daughter's arrest.Translation: Tucker's mother, Barbara Fair, of the New Haven-based People Against Injustice, was vigorously smoking rock with longtime associates when she learned of her daughter's arrest.

The socialist state of CT will see to it that this elite female gets out of it.
The elite is always above the law.

"We have plenty of witnesses. We have people who will exonerate her," I hope there was a camera on that bus.

What a great parental example. Where are social services when you need them?

Before getting off the bus, Tucker scolded the two officers and the bus driver, all of whom were white, with racial epithets.... Tucker faces three counts of intimidation based on bigotry and bias, three counts of second-degree threatening, two counts of assault on a police officer, two counts of interfering with police and a count of breach of peace.
Uhhhh???? Where's the "Hate Crime" charge?

..apparently failed to pay her bus fare and then threatened the driver when told to get off the bus.
Two officers called in to defuse the situation found an angry Tucker..
Hmmm... let's see. "Threatened the driver" and "defuse the situation". Defuse? Defuse! WTH? She threatened the driver. C'mon officers, arrest her, that's your job.
...found an angry Tucker
Yeah, she's a [F]Tucker, no doubt about that.

OOO...hate cwimes.
Funny how they end up being applied.
"Bigotry is not just wrong...its against the law." Puleeze.
Throw the book at her for the assault and the rest but drop the bigotry and bias nonsense.
I don't care who you are, that ain't right.[Yeah I know, it was intended to punish white people for assumed racism.]

Before getting off the bus, Tucker scolded the two officers and the bus driver, all of whom were white, with racial epithets.Scolded? So, if some white bigot yells the n-word at a black person, the white bigot is just scolding the black guy? I don't think so.

Either the woman was irrational to start with or the report is missing something, but I think we'd be well advised to withold judgement for a little while. This reads like the police version of the facts.

Oddly enough, I see nothing in the story where Tucker claims to have paid. So we're left to speculate if she was claiming some kind of right to a free ride or did she claim to have paid when the driver said she didn't?
Either way, her reaction was way outta line and hopefully some of the charges will stick.
