That's a lot of work, I know...

...but at least it's inside work, sitting at the keyboard.

You know about my adventures building a generator so Miss Emily can ride out hurricanes in air-conditioned comfort, but I spent yesterday ripping out and replacing rotten porch decking in the 96 degree, 100% humidity of the Deep South.

I note with amusement that Lipton commercials are now touting their iced tea as having some sort of "health benefit," so I should be brimming and rippling with good health since I drink it by the gallon in hot weather.

One of those earliest lessons I learned from "the old guy in the shop" was to always have a huge glass of strong iced tea handy to sip on.

"Pakistani Cops Questioning Al Qaeda Leader Linked to London Attacks"
Wednesday, July 20, 2005
By Zahid Hussain, Daniel McGrory and Sean O'Neill

LONDON —

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Aswat is believed to have had a ten-year association with militant groups and met Usama bin Laden while attending an Al Qaeda training camp at Khalden in Afghanistan.

FBI documents obtained by The Times reveal details of how a London-based cleric sent Aswat to America in 1999 to set up camps in Oregon for U.S.-born recruits.

The papers indicate that Aswat spent three months in America and engaged in firearms and poisons training but decided against using a remote ranch in Bly as an Al Qaeda camp. The CIA is keeping in close touch with Aswat’s interrogation and British detectives are seeking permission to speak to him.

The FBI is to question a number of figures held in the United States, including James Ujaama, an American convert to Islam who met Aswat, and a second Al Qaeda emissary in Seattle.

Ujaama has pleaded guilty to assisting the Taliban and is now a “co-operating witness” who has given details of Aswat’s activities in the United States."

We ought to be calling our representatives and letting them know that we want the Patriot Act strengthened not weakened.

Rajneesh was exiled out of the country and has since gone to meet his maker. His cohorts went to the horizontal bar hotel for using a "unique" salad dressing in the restaurants of Antelope. Probably the first attack on US soil with WMD's.

So many questions about so many things.

PLANO TEXAS – The Ismaili Muslim community announced Tuesday that it is building a $6.5 million worship and community center in Plano, where it has found a warm welcome.

I never believed the b. s. about it being a mistaken match of the fingerprint. I don't believe in coincidences like that. I don't believe that Yee was innocent, either.

I am sure that Mayfield and Yee are both on the watch list, anyway. The fact that Yee and Mayfield both had connections to this guy in Pakistan is enough of a coincidence.

If memory serves the Bly (OR) Advanced Training and Buttrocking Phacility just didn't work out. Oregon actually only has about two blue counties and where Bly is is deep red. Picture this: An Arab guy who talks somewhat cockney goes shopping for a "ranch" deep in the heart of serious cowboy/lumberjack country. He's not gonna stand out (snicker)! As soon as he tries to order in sacrificial goat word was soon to get around. While we have a cosmopolitan crowd in downtown Portland the rest of the state is all but solid white----I expect profiling is not out of fashion in the red zone so that middle east dirtbagz will have short careers here.

"What's very scary is not only can they travel very easily through Europe, they could travel very easily to the United States because of their British citizenship," added retired Portland State University professer Gary Perlstein, a KGW terrorism expert.

This situation would be a lot less scary if our two governments were not so hell bent on being PR instead of profiling and random searches on middle eastern men between 18-40.

I know that case all too well.

These scumbags were "target practicing" in a gravel pit near my home. I actually saw them driving their minivan as they left the seen. I noticed them because they had towels on their heads. You just don't see friggin towel heads driving minivans around here. They stuck out like turds in a punch bowl.

Yes, I PROFILE.

Is it true that the socialist City of Portland and its police chief refused to cooperate with the feds (FBI, etc.) in going after the Islamoterrorists and that the Oregon 6 were discovered by a cop from Washington state out on a drive, and not by competent police work by Oregon authorities?

Yes, Portland OR has refused to work with the Feds and has pulled out of the JTTF (joint terrorism task force). I have long predicted attacks will happen as a result of these "elected leaders" and their PC policies.

As for the Oregon 6 (really 7 because the lone woman was not allowed to participate, but she knew what was up) and their target practice, A person who lived near the gravel pit heard shots and called the cops. Washington cop went to investigate, found towel heads with automatic weapons, took names and numbers, notified the FBI and the rest is history. NO THANKS TO OREGON! They had plenty of Portland protesters at the court house, until the guilty peas. The Mayor of Portland (crazy Katz) previously had one of the wannabe terrorist as an intern in her office.

If the terrorists had their way Portland would earn it's nickname "Stump Town". Smoldering stumps and creeping death.

From the article he "lived in Seattle in early 2000".

The Seattle Times article for today said he lived in Seattle for 2 months in a MOSQUE in Seattle. The mosque was a small storefront thing, looked to be in a run-down area. Ujamma went there too.

The mosque was closed due to damage from an earthquake in 2000 the paper said (although I think the quake was in Feb. 2001).

Also - Ujamma has been free now for a year or more. And it doesn't sound like he's used as a witness anymore.

I wonder if this is associated with the muslim guy's house in a residential area in neigboring Kenmore, WA. I know he was in the process of building his "house" - not sure if it got completed or not. His "house" had something like 16 bedrooms and 18 full bathrooms, a large shower room and a large "prayer" room, etc. I'm not sure if he had any kids or not. He said he needed the room for "relatives" when they visit. Something to do with "his culture".

"Investigators probing the London terror bombings are focusing on an elusive British Muslim suspect who is connected to a previous plot to set up a terrorist training camp in rural southern Oregon, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials."

Everyone from that Oregon camp needs to be checked out to see which ones ought to be tailed. If we don't have the resources to tail them, round them up.
