It's amazing this unconvicted felon is a US senator, much less on the judiciary committee. Oh the irony. Makes you have a real high opinon of US senators, doesn't it.

''I'm not going to change what I've stood for for 40 years in the Senate," Kennedy said. ''I take it very seriously with regards to the Supreme Court, because at the end of the day, this is the place where the rights and liberties of the American people are best protected." Which would be what exactly?!
Not everyone's right's are protected. Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork are two that I can think of at the moment. And, of course, Mary Jo's right's weren't protected either.

at the end of the day, this is the place where the rights and liberties of the American people are best protected. We can't expect the legislature to actually live up to the role envisioned for it by the Founders.

My plan is every Republican in teh Senate to carry a large flask of Whiskey. Each of th 55 Republicans are to invite teddy to have a drink with him. Each senator is to do that 3 times. Lets see how Teddy performs after he has had 165 shots of whiskey.
You know Teddy can't turn down a free drink.

Isn't applying the word "lion" to Ted Kennedy - however metaphorically - a little inappropriate?Maybe not. Depends on which lion.
Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for (someone) to devour.

"Somebody please tell unc teddi when he is elected POTUS he can choose the nominee."
There are a lot of folks who need to be Cc'd on that memo.
On a side note, you might have violated the "Ann" rule. (Gotta include a pic.) (It may only apply when posting her articles, but why take the chance?)

Chappaquiddick Kennedy Judging Judges 36 years after he killed Mary Jo Kopechne by driving her off a bridge. When will Kennedy serve his jail sentence for manslaughter, drunk driving, leaving the scene, obstruction of justice, and perjury?
