Reminds me of a buddy of mine who was working for an AM radio station on the evening shift on Saturday night and offered a large Pizza Hut pizza with your choice of toppings to the 4th caller. 45 minutes later he called me up and asked if I wanted the pizza because NO ONE had called in!

A friend and I used to work overnights at an AM/FM station, he was AM I was FM. We'd have giveaways, and no one would call so we'd say Chuck Roast or Bobby Penn won.

Sometimes when I'm flicking the channel late at night recently, I've noticed that Sundance is replaying the Al Franken radio show and he and the lady troll that sits next to him are often cursing and saying the most vile things, but the tv is bleeping it out. Often thought this was strange cause Sundance plays movies and leaves all the profanity in. Don't understand this but all I can think, is they are gearing up for the 2006 elections and don't want middle America to turn on them for using all this disgusting language. I guess they figure people in the South and middle America wont know what BLEEP you Bush means.

I would put Randi Rhodes up against Garofalo any day when
it comes to vile filth coming out of a human mouth. I sometimes tune in to Error Amirca here in Portland and actually try to see or understand what she is saying. So far I can say I have never been able to glean any reliable information from her. It's all hate and smear, she reminds me of someone at a zoo rattling the cages to stir up the animals (sheeple)
