China: We'd nuke U.S. if provoked over Taiwan - Major general;"Beijing prepared to use WMDs vs.US")
WORLD NET DAILY.COM ^ | JULY 14, 2005 | EDITOR

Posted on 07/14/2005 3:51:11 PM PDT by CHARLITE

A Chinese military official says Beijing will use nuclear weapons against the U.S. if the Americans attack the Asian nation in a fight over Taiwan.

"If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons," Zhu Chenghu, a major general in the People's Liberation Army, said at an official briefing, according to the Financial Times.

Speaking at a function organized for foreign journalists, the official noted the definition of China's territory includes warships and aircraft.

"If the Americans are determined to interfere [then] we will be determined to respond," Zhu said. "We Chinese will prepare ourselves for the destruction of all of the cities east of Xian. Of course, the Americans will have to be prepared that hundreds ... of cities will be destroyed by the Chinese."

The Financial Times notes Zhu is a self-acknowledged "hawk" who has warned previously that China could strike the U.S. with long-range missiles. But his threat to use nuclear weapons in a conflict over Taiwan is the most specific by a senior Chinese official in nearly a decade.

Zhu is not the first Chinese official to mention the use of nuclear weapons first in a conflict over Taiwan.

Chas Freeman, a former U.S. assistant secretary of defense, said in 1999 that a PLA official had told him China could respond in kind to a nuclear strike by the U.S. in the event of a conflict with Taiwan.

"In the end you care more about Los Angeles than you do about Taipei," Freeman quoted this official as saying.

Though official U.S. policy on Taiwan is that it is part of mainland China – the "one China" policy – President Bush has said the U.S. would defend the island republic if it were attacked by Beijing.

How would they know where our missiles are targeted unless we tell them?

What is needed is a preemptive carpet nuking. Otherwise a little later the same crap will pop up all over again.

Let's never forget that CHina would not have the ability to deliver nukes on American soil if not for Clinton's treasonous and self-serving actions to allow the transfer of Loral's missile technology to China in exchange for campaign contributions.

China doesn't have a clue what we are capable of.

They are like the american indians who got a few guns and thought they stood a chance against the us government.

A war with China would solve alot of problems, it sure would solve the energy crisis. A billion fewer people would use alot less oil :)

anyone here wanna guess:

1. Just how many Chi-Com agents have actively penetrated our Military & Political infrastructure and awaiting orders to destabilize the country? (Sorry, no one from the DNC counts since they ALL works for the Chinese Communist Govt).

2. How many nukes and WMD's have been smuggled into the country via a certain merchant's mega shipments from China?

3. Just how Politically Correct the US Military has become and the leaders are now afraid of discussing the fact that China can soon hurt USA very badly in a war.

A sad fact of history is that: It does not matter your Military strenght if you dont have the political willingness to use it.

I fear that America has become seriously weakened by many factors: The MSM, Bill Clintons allowing gays in the military, the relentless attacks by the gays & liberals to destroy the traditional family, etc, etc.

History shows that Many Empires fell from within. And America has got a lot of those same termites eating it out from within.

And still the free traitors grasp themselves in Michael Jackson style, while simpering and moaning about lower prices for consumers.

No doubt they will become even more excited about free trade when an American city is incinerated by a nuclear attack.

As for me,they can have Taiwan as long as they let them do business like Hong Kong or Shanghai.

In any event, why do we allow these third world dictators to openly threaten us?

Why can't anyone with any power simply say, "oh yeah, watch it pal or you'll be nothing more than prehistoric rock before you even had the chance."

Tell the terror dummies the same thing. Bye bye mecca, medina and evey other holy site excluding Israel held sites.

Why are we so weak? Our ancestors would never have been so quiet at such threats.

I expect and ask that my leaders stand up for us and not allow such threats to go unchallenged.

If they want to duke it out, let's get at it and show them the full ability US military!

I'm tired of our "friends" always p sing in our face.

Because too many of those leaders, both sides of the political aisle, are bought and paid for by other than 'national interests'. To quote Judge Judy, "Follow the money." How many 'leaders' went to Washington as middle class elected and managed to acquire significant wealth? You don't acquire that kind of wealth on the salary of a Senator or Representative or US government employee. You acquire it from the perks (selling your 'services') of the governmental position.

Yes, but still tolerable until we add the additional threat of Muslim terrorist cells with possibly nuclear , biological or chemical weapons, plus millions of illegal Mexicans intent on reconquering our South West, plus tens of thousands of M13 (Las Maras Salvatruche) and other professional gangs waiting for the opportunity to reign terror on our population and now we have something to really be concerned about!!!

Taiwan paid for it, Israel provided the talent, and South Africa provided the Uranium and the research safe haven (you didn't think that "Apartheid" sanctions were really limited to race relations, did you?!).

That joint effort made one atomic test explosion.

Compare this...
China: "We'd nuke U.S. if provoked over Taiwan"
worldnetdaily.com / 14 July 2005

A Chinese military official says Beijing will use nuclear weapons against the U.S. if the Americans attack the Asian nation in a fight over Taiwan.

"If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons," Zhu Chenghu, a major general in the People's Liberation Army, said at an official briefing, according to the Financial Times... Zhu is not the first Chinese official to mention the use of nuclear weapons first in a conflict over Taiwan.

With this...
Bush Aide Involved in Chinese Bid for Unocal
newsmax.com / 13 July 2005

President Bush's top independent intelligence adviser, James C. Langdon Jr., met last winter with investment bankers in China to help secure his law firm's role in lobbying for a state-run Chinese energy firm and its bid for the U.S. oil company Unocal Corp., according to a report in the Washington Post...

Langdon's involvement, given his double role as Bush intelligence adviser and energy lawyer at the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, may prove problematic, some security experts have suggested.

I work in a Fortune 500. I've hired H1Bs in the past (during better times). There was nothing in the process that would have prevented me from unknowingly hiring an ErBu agent. I therefore must assume that at hundreds of major US companies, there are H1Bs from the PRC, who are in fact ErBu, or even active duty PLA. Do you think that most companies have a process that says "let's see, is this guy an H1B from Communist Red China?" when they give things like access to the financials data bases, responsibility for intellectual property or any number of other core, sensitive access permissions? Certainly, Export Control Laws are supposed to control some of the IP access but the truth is that the Feds have almost no enforcement budget let alone resources to randomly spot check or audit. And as for access to financials (as well as personnel data) there is zero - zilch - it is 100% up to each company to set their standards (typically - none). So, given all of that, imagine what might be the situation when we all show up to work some Monday or Tuesday morning after a 3 day weekend.
