Hayes does it again. GW needs to read this on national tv. The administration just ain't making their case to the uninformed public. We know, but too many still listen to pete, tom and dan for their news.
Print it up and stuff it in the pocket of every moron who says that osama hated saddam and there was no connection to 911.

Saddam ran a terrorist regime that home to a devil's brew of terrorist groups ranging from socialist to Islamist. They were a tool of Iraqi policy against the democratic West and Iraq's neighbors. Then too, Al Qaeda had a haven in Iraq under Saddam's supervision. It emerged in full virulence at the end of the war because the downfall of Saddam's regime eliminated the totalitarian constraints that kept it in check. This is not to say the Ba'ath regime was a civilized government before we came in that wanted peace with the rest of the world. All the evidence to date has demonstrated that was definitely not the case.

but wonder if media will ever report this sort of evidence to the publicLOL. Yes, right on the cover of TIME magazine and a full 50 minutes on '60 Too Many Minutes'!

BTW, I didn't want to leave the impression that the old Dem./liberal/socialist media is somehow discconnected from other powerful and destructive forces. It's all one big socialist web out to bring down America. America, as it was decades ago, does not fit into their plans.
The singular FACT that this type of story which is exposed on this thread will never be heard by 95% to 99% of American citizens and voters illustrates perfectly how successful the other side is.
The way the media (for the most part) is still constructed in this country, the way "information" is still disseminated will never allow the people to know enough. There will not be the "revolutions", the proper protests that are needed. The 'dumbing down' is a nearly complete success.

None of that stuff matters to the Bush haters. The only thing that they care about seeing is a picture of Osama and Saddam posing with atom bombs. Anything less is not enough.

"Absolutely. I know that there is no relation with that guy. . . . We have no relations with these kind of guys, with all persons who are involved in terrorism."
Heh-heh. Said while shaking his finger no doubt.

Thanks for the ping AAC. Much detail and extremely interesting; I like this little snippet -
'Iraq's use of terrorism was so widespread, in fact, that it became an issue in the 1992 presidential campaign, when Al Gore accused the first Bush administration of a "blatant disregard for brutal terrorism" practiced by Hussein and ignoring Iraq's "extensive terrorism activities."'

You got it. Take for instance one of the libs favorite military men, General Zinni. Thousands of military personnel operating in his AOR(Persian Gulf) were illegally forced to receive the experimental Anthrax vaccine from 1996-2000 in response to the Iraqi WMD threat. He ran the DESERT FOX Operation in December 1998 where we bombed Iraqi WMD facilities for three days. Now,after receiving his medals and accolades, he calls the whole Iraqi WMD threat a lie!!! The libs love throwing his name around!
My big disappointment with Bush is that he allowed the libs to cast aspersions as to the moral authority we have in this war. He allowed them to compartmentalize the Iraq problem from 9/11 onward.

Oh my gosh! Mo1, I am so grateful you pinged me to this thread. I've saved the article under my list of connections between AQ/Iraq. It is a must read article for those who wish to counter the spin that there was no connection or that terrorists did not reside in Iraq prior to the war. Thank you!
