They had a silly Logo. Saying something like "Scotland Yard working for you", which was in a handwritten style and was on their vehicles, paper, everything etc. The 1st thing he did was have it changed to a printed style, as quote "the visualy impaired, might have difficulty reading it".

A person who's incapable of distinguishing between a silly little message of reassurance and vital public safety information—between what's inessential and what's essential—is a fool and a danger to himself and others.

Upper-class twit-ism is alive and well at the Yard, I guess. Best of luck, Londoners—you're going to need it.

Why is it all these guys LOOK like something unkempt, filthy and slimey from under a rock to us but look like shining knights to the other side?
