This is a ploy to take the heat off Democrats when Bush names a Supreme Court justice. They don't want to be seen as partisan obstructionists; this is their way of going on the offensive to avoid dealing with it.

Thanx for posting the link. Posting the name Plame over there is like throwing blood in the water & has been since they started to worship Wilson as a savior.

In case you missed Pukin Dog's rant:

As I read through this whole thread, a couple of times I was tempted to respond something about "the cheese" & it would have left people scratching their heads, wondering, what is she going on about *now*?

Luskin claimed that the prosecutor “asked us not to talk about what Karl has had to say.” This is highly unlikely. Prosecutors have absolutely no control over what witnesses say when they leave the grand jury room.

Uh, the key word is "asked" - - the prosecutor "asked". Rove decided to comply.

Rove can tell us word-for-word what he said to the grand jury and would if he thought it would help him.

Yes, he could. But then, that would tip off your allies on how to lie.

And notice that Luskin just did reveal part of Rove’s grand jury testimony, the fact that he had a conversation with Cooper. Rove would not let me get one day of traction on this story if he could stop me.

No, Rove would never want you to dig your grave deeper.... HAR!!

If what I have reported is not true, if Karl Rove is not Matt Cooper’s source, Rove could prove that instantly by telling us what he told the grand jury.

LOL, Larry, there you go again, begging to know what Karl told the grand jury! (See above.) Won't happen - - your allies will be forced to tell the truth or risk perjury charges. Oh, crap! HAR!!!

summer,

Great post!
Do you think O'Donnell realizes that his desperate attempt to get Rove to reveal what he told the grand jury has all the subtlety of a 2x4 across the back of the head? And that if there was any doubt before about what O'Donnell was up to, this "follow-up" leaves no doubt? Here, O'Donnell is all but BEGGING Rove to reveal what he told the grand jury! Hilarious!

Regards,
LH

re: your post #30

Excellent post! I remember when that report from the American Prospect was originally posted here. It floored me at the time, but over a year later as things come full circle it begins to make a little more sense.

Love the pic and the tagline. How appropriate. O'Donnell is an idiot who should be wrapped in a straight-jacket inside an padded room.

He looks like the judge character in Roger Rabbit played by Christopher Lloyd before he pulled his whole mask off.

"Larry, there you go again, begging to know what Karl told the grand jury!"

Larry's awfully worried about something, isn't he?

Rove isn't stupid. Liberals are. And the idiot Leftists aren't going to find out anything until *everyone* knows the score.

Larry the nutjob strikes again.

I seem to recall Rove saying that he has talked to Cooper and many other journalists. That's part of what he does.

Odds are that no laws have been broken anywhere....and ole Larry know that....but is just trying to make heat.

The guy has lost any respect he had as a newsman.

I see what you mean...that sentence clearly ought to have ended, "...that Karl Rove is the source that Matt Cooper is protecting."
