""Thus only an army with a greater determination and paranoia and absence of morals than the Muslims, can defeat Islam."

"Only a people who are morally justified (who just happen to be the biggest badass on the block if need be) will eradicate this plague upon mankind."

You aren't getting it. He is talking about mass murder, genocide. In his view, which is correct, Islam will remain a problem as long as there are Muslims living on the planet. Only by killing them all will they cease to be a problem.

Obviously we cannot kill them all however. That goes against all of our ethics. To do so would invalidate our moral superiority. We would have to ignore our values of human rights and tolerance and religious freedom. Thus we have a catch 22. We cannot win even though we are clearly superior badasses.

Muslims are a cancer on human society, but unlike cancer we cannot kill it. Instead we have to try and cure it. It will not be easy, but the first step is understanding that Islam IS the problem.

As long as people continue to believe that Islam is not the problem, and that it is just a coincidence that Muslims are in conflict and are terrorizing non Muslims all over the world, then we cannot hope to find a solution and go about curing the world of the disease of Islam.

This is a pile. Even if it were not, it should be considered as demagoguery and contrary to the official policy of the White House. Besides that, the suggestions are impractical.

"Not so sure that is much of an improvement, though, I can't think of any atheist group that is overtly trying to kill me and everyone I know."

Atheism is just as much a religion as any other, and they can be just as intolerant of others beliefs as those of any religion. However you are correct that they aren't currently, that I am aware of, killing others for believing in God. They have in the past. Atheism was a significant part of Communism.

Instead of believing in God, Atheists believe there is no God. That is their religion. If you disagree, the less tolerant among them can be pretty nasty. All religions have intolerance towards other religions built into them, but only Islam teaches that others must be converted to Islam or enslaved or killed.

In this respect it is unique. It is why there will be no peace between Muslims and non-Muslims ever. They are required to war against non Muslims if they are to remain Muslims. In this respect the author is correct, Atheist or not.

"FCC restrictions will soon descend on talk show hosts with lists of unapproved topics."

the FCC does not have jurisdiction on for pay satellite stations. This might force talk shows to go satellite which would be good for freedom of speech.

Oh, I see you're another one who knows all one billion muslims out there. Okay, forget it. There is no point talking to people who think they know everything there is to know about a billion people.

"And the Muslim world is teaming with vague types whose notion of Islam is as generic and shallow as the many "Christians" who aren't even sure if they believe Jesus rose again."

Teaming? Hardly. There are some, and in Muslim countries they are the ones lashed for drinking beer, or talking to someone of the opposite sex. In western countries they are ostracized by fellow Muslims if the are men, killed if they are women. Islam is a very strict religion. It's life and death strict, especially for Muslim women.

"We would have to ignore our values of human rights and tolerance and religious freedom."

My solution is for all of Islam to isolate itself from humanity and work out their problems on each other. The Cain Sanction, if you will.

If not, and they continue their crap, we would not be ignoring our values if we are dealing with a terminal infection in the human race.

If the cancer can't be cured, pluck off the offending member.

Why is it so important to you to establish that there are "moderate Muslims"? Just as moderate Catholics are not representative of the Catholic religion, moderate Muslims, to the extent that they exist, are even less representative of the Islamic religion.

Do you think it is a coincidence that Muslims are killing innocent non Muslims all over the world? Do you think it is non Muslims fault for provoking Muslims? Why are you such a defender of Islam?

"In Nahum 1:6 - "Who can stand before His indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him."

Hence all the sins in the old testament requiring STONING as the punishment there-of!

I'm not a defender of Islam. I think Islam sucks. But I know there are millions of people out there who were raised muslim who don't buy into it all that much, just as there are millions of Christians who aren't much into it. Why is it important to establish that? Because it's the truth, and this screed that there is no such thing as a moderate muslim is bs.

Wow! That's interesting .. I don't think I ever realized why they used stoning as punishment. Hmmmmm??

But I know there are millions of people out there who were raised muslim who don't buy into it all that much, just as there are millions of Christians who aren't much into it.

You don't seem to understand. The "radicalism" in Islam you see is enshrined in its very holy book. If and when jihad is declared locally, like in America, these "moderates" will be faced with becoming jihadists or be executed by the "radicals", probably at home in their beds as they sleep, if they resist. What are they likely to choose?

There cannot be any Muslim "moderates". Your head is dangerously soft. Not just to you, but to the rest of us as well.

"But I know there are millions of people out there who were raised muslim who don't buy into it all that much"

How do you know? Do you know each of them personally? Polls have shown that Muslims, even "moderate Muslims" put their religion before any other authority. This is typical of anyone when discussing their religion. The problem with Islam is that, unlike other religions, Islam is at odds with ordinary human rights. Freedom of religion, Freedom of expression, Freedom of association, and tolerance of others are just some of the rights and values that the Koran forbids.

Every Muslim puts following the Koran ahead of following the laws of the land in which they reside. They may act like they don't care about the Koran, but if pressed to choose, the Koran must be their choice. If they don't choose the Koran, then they aren't Muslim any longer. I didn't make the rules, thats just the way it is.

I'm sorry. I really shouldn't be interfering with your hate-fest. It's obvious you like thinking this way and you're enjoying yourselves. Party on. Don't mind me. Go back to building the crematoriums.

You seriously need to talk to someone with some sense. You're dealing with a rattlesnake, and while, in your unconscious ignorance, you get bit, you but suffer the consequences of your lack of wisdom.

In Islam's case, however, you are part of a body politic, who will suffer the consequences of your, and any ignoramus you would tend to convince, soft headiness.

Get educated and get hard. It's not too late even for liberals.

The above post about your "moderate muzzie" friend reminds me of someones comment on Mohammud Atta's behavior from a fellow tenant. Their all sooo nice until the Jihad switch is thrown. You should go ask your "moderate muzzie" friend if she'll hold you down while they execute you.

Oh, so now I'm a liberal because I refuse to believe that there is no such thing as a moderate muslim?

You are the one who needs to talk with someone who has some sense. You can't stomp out Islam, even if you murdered every last muslim and burned every last Koran.

But by all means, try! Have a blast!

"It's obvious you like thinking this way and you're enjoying yourselves"

We don't like "thinking this way". It is the way things are. Ignoring it won't make it go away. If you choose to be oblivious in order for you to feel safer thats up to you. We are not the ones building crematoriums or killing innocents though. I have no desire to harm anyone. The same can't be said for Muslims however. You ignore the facts at your own peril.
