I'm trying really really hard to feel bad for the terrorists...

No luck.

So what if this "very, very serious" allegation is true? Big deal.

Last Thursday Nowak and three other UN human rights experts said they were opening an inquiry into the US detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where Washington has been holding more than 500 people without trial, and into other such locations.

They're lucky we're holding them at all. The vaunted Geneva Convention says we could have them all shot tomorrow as spies, no questions asked.

Didn't one congresswoman say that she couldn't find any signs of abuse at Gitmo but said some prisoners were removed?

Heard it on Rush.

"very, very serious"

would that be more or less serious than raping children?
more or less serious than the slaughters of the Sudan?
more or less serious than the oil for food scam?

Get the UN out of the US.

...the United States is secretly detaining terrorism suspects in various locations around the world, notably aboard prison ships...

Too good to be true.

The United States has neither refused nor granted requests by Nowak's group to visit Guantanamo.

Read: the US ignored them in their entirety.

I'm just getting mighty tired of this! When is someone (on our side) going to demand the the accusers produce some specifics, such as who, where, and how! Innuendos are deadly, even if unproven and unfounded.

We have very, very serious allegations for the UN and its treatment of poor Africans. And its starving of little Iraqi children for oil.

Is this what you get when you cross a rapper with a reporter?

If these ships exist, then let's let this guy share a cage with the ones that he "cares" so much for.
