It is sickening especially after all the things Clinton has said about both President Bush #41 and #43, IMO.

Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.

Worst case scenario.....Clinton 2009-2013 followed by Jeb 2013-2021.

when you look at it from the point of view that these are the senior members of the 2 most powerful political families in the country being best pals (in public of course), it is somewhat disconcerting.

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine -

Bill Clinton joined his one-time political foe, former President George H.W. Bush, for a boat ride on the Atlantic Ocean after attending a book-signing Monday.

Clinton was seen kneeling to pet a dog when he arrived at Walker's Point, the summer home of George and Barbara Bush on Maine's rocky coast. Later, Clinton and Bush waved to onlookers as they boated up and down a river before roaring into the ocean for a short ride in Bush's three-engine boat.

The 1992 election rivals became good friends when they led fund-raising as part of the relief effort for victims of the Asian tsunami. Bush extended the invitation after learning that Clinton would be in Maine for a book signing.

Earlier, customers at a Borders bookstore in South Portland cheered when Clinton arrived to sign copies of his memoir, "My Life." About 70 people already were in line when the store opened and the line snaked around three sides of the building by noon.

In addition, President Clinton has said many dreadful things about 41 and 43. So has Senator Rodham-Rodham.

You know I have actually been thinking about this relationship they have...

How is it they can be friendly with someone who's wife cuts their son at every opportunity? If I was Barbara I would tell the Clintons "Another snarfy comment about my son and you'll have to answer to me"

Instead they go golfing?? I don't get it except that maybe they are trying to show the rest of the world a united front..but who would actually buy that????

No kidding!

The Clintons would stab their own family in the back if it meant more power for them. As a matter of fact, they have stabbed their own "friends" in the back for power more than a few times.

in all fairness, i suspect only the comic-book section of the american public and the media treat the clinton's marriage as anything other than a legal condition. For all practical purposes clinton is a bachelor. It is quite possible he dislikes or abhors hillary.

Ya know, it really makes me wonder what's really going on in the smoky backrooms of real power in our nations capital when I see such apparent diametrically opposed forces taking joy rides together and apparently enjoying each others company. Makes me wonder if there are real differences between both party's candidates, or if it's all an elaborately staged, carefully choreographed WWF wrestling match, just to keep the masses entertained...(adjusting tinfoil hat now).

I don't understand how Bush can be in the same room with Bubba, much less invite him to his home.

No tin foil needed for that thought!

I can't decide if this "buddy-buddy" business makes me disgusted, or concerned, or both...I do most uncharitably loath the Clintons, but it still seems to me the Bushes would be better off treating the Clintons with a rather icy politeness, all things considered. What kind of game are they playing here?!

And speaking of...Billy Graham, LOL!! I only know his reputation as a great evangelist and "friend of all Presidents", but his background seems kind of interesting from the few facts I heard the other day...he probably invited Billy Jeff up there on stage just to make sure he drew a good crowd for his "final mission", and he could hardly not invite PIAPS (pink this time...yech!!)!

(no offense intended to any Rev. Graham fans here...I'm sure he does good work, although I would be interested in your take on his Clinton career comments...what was he thinking?!)
