My crew always received exceptional service there just because we were American and good people. After those gifts she would meet us at the door when she saw the boat enter the small harbor. Her husband was a nice guy too.

They don't get in to political arguments, which I take to mean that they really don't support China's governance, or that they are under orders to blend in and complete the mission, or both.It is said that half the Chinese in the US are here to spy on us.
The other half are spying on them...
