I know enough gay people to know that they're just ordinary people who happen to be attracted to the same sex.

I know enough people to know it's not ordinary to "happen to be attracted to the same sex". Some people "happen to have been born with Down's Syndrome but they don't get to have special privileges because they have a genetic defect. They are protected against discrimination but they are not 'rewarded' for their illness.

I think it's a ridiculous assumption that a heterosexual boy is going to start 'experimenting' because he saw a gay character on a sitcom.

You mean advertisements don't work? If commercials, which companies spend a load of money on, work, then what will a half hour sitcom/ad do? Hmmmm?

millions of homosexuals in the United States live in guilt and fear because of what a few questionable lines in an anachronistic book say.

It's more than a few lines. And they live in guilt because they KNOW they're wrong.

Two lesbians needing help with the plumbing?

Silly. Everybody knows lesbians are more into carpentry.

You know, tongue-in-groove.

It's not guilt and fear. They are genuinely screwed up in the head.

Did seeing a gay character make you gay? I didn't think so.

They didn't put that immoral sludge on TV when I was young. People actually had dignity and decorum and kept their bedroom private.

My 5 yr old loves the This Old House Hour. We saw that episode a few months ago. It was unbelievable. They rarely show a couple when they come to someone's house. But they went out of their way to show how well this couple gets along. It was so stupid.

The whole thing was, Richard came to help them put a whole house air filtration system in. The bull dyke had a cat that the half-descent looking one was allergic to(shows a lot of love right there). They were so sappy, helping each other put the weather stripping on the filter and such. It was actually embarassing and not just because of the homo thing. I called to complain the following Monday. The "guy" on the other end was like; "Well that'th the way thome familieth are." and hung up on me.

They may be familiar with the materials, but certainly not with laying pipe, or "sweating the joints", as it were. I'll bet they were having supply problems - they've got the perfect mindet for handling the waste stack, IMO. ;-P

That was necrophilia - a completely DIFFERENT disorder.

I am growing a little weary of the "I can't help my sexuality argument." If human beings' sexual preferences were not open to manipulation, then the standard for beauty in our society would never change. Case in point, in 1940 Pamela Anderson would not have been considered overly attractive. Nowadays, the sight of her arouses men. Reason: Advertising of changing trends in the perception of beauty. The western media in Asia, and millions of Japanese men desiring wide-eyed, buxom blondes are a testament to the fact. Another example of sexuality "movement" is the stereotypical rockstar/actor who becomes big enough to get almost any woman he wants, and decides to try group sex, and eventually homosexual sex. People can adjust, or allow the adjustment of, their "sexuality".

Having known several gays who began their experimentation with a need for social acceptance, one of whom I got to see die a slow, miserable death due to AIDS, I don't really care for cute little MTV ideas about infants being gay.

are either gay or straight, there is no choice or whim involved.

Bravo-Sierra. Allegation unsupported by fact.

Also, every respected psychological and medical organization in the United States and Europe reject the notion that homosexuality can either be changed or stems from a psychological problem.

These are the same organizations that, until fairly recently, listed homosexuality as a disorder, correct?

The truth of the matter is that this kind of rhetoric makes millions of homosexuals in the United States live in guilt and fear because of what a few questionable lines in an anachronistic book say.

The truth of the matter is that, for most conservatives such as myself, a person's orientation only comes into play (no pun intended) when we are told that we cannot practice our faiths because it interferes with someone else's right to practice their own standard of behavior. You have no right to force me to endorse what I see as wrong.

Try a little logic next time.

Because from childhood on they hear, from people such as yourself, that homosexuals are evil and disgusting. You too would be a little screwed up in the head if you were told you were evil for something you couldn't change about yourself.

Evil? Only the scumbags who beve irreposndibly and spread disease like locusts. Yes they are evil.

Discusting? You betcha it's a nauseating act.

I truly hope scientists are able to find the cure to homosexuality and are able to fix the sad sad destructive lives so many homosexuals live in.

For a second I thought.."Naw, I didn't just see that, did I?"

Then I just filed the company name....under "Who NOT to Ever do Business With"
