Right you are shellshocked. Try this experiment as I did not long ago in dowtown Juneau Alaska. Over the course of the day, when you are at a traffic light or a 4-way stop. take note of how many times at all 3 other corners you see ALL of the other drivers yakking on the phone as they wait for their turn to proceed. It is truly eye-opening.
