We all watched Terri Schiavo die. Now former LAPD homicide detective and New York Times bestselling author Mark Furhman investigates to find out what really happened.

Later this month, Furhman's newest book, Silent Witness: The Untold Story of Terri Schiavo's Death, will be released. It will prove the controversy over Terry Schiavo's death is far from over.
And it's not over yet. Despite her death, the controversy lingers. In Silent Witness, Mark Fuhrman applies his highly respected investigative skills to examine the medical evidence, legal case files, and police records. [NewsMax will have among the first copies.]
With the complete cooperation of Terri Schiavo's parents and siblings, as well as their medical and legal advisers, he conducts exclusive interviews with forensics experts and crucial witnesses, including friends, family members, and caregivers.
Fuhrman's findings will answer these questions:
What was Terri and Michael Schiavo's marriage really like?
What happened the day Terri collapsed?
What did Michael Schiavo do when he discovered Terri unconscious?
How long did he wait before calling 911?
What do medical records show about her condition when she was first admitted to the hospital?
What will the autopsy say?
The legal issues and ethical questions provoked by Terri Schiavo's extraordinary case may never be resolved.
But the facts about her marriage, her condition when she collapsed, and her eventual death fifteen years later can be determined.
With Silent Witness, Fuhrman goes beyond the legal aspects of the case and delves into the broader, human background of Terri Schiavo's short, sad life.
Mark Fuhrman is a retired LAPD detective. He is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Murder in Brentwood and Murder in Greenwich, as well as Murder in Spokane and Death and Justice. He lives in Idaho.
Thanks. I'll be glad to read Fuhrman's findings on this case. It should be an informative book.
I wonder when Fuhrman started writing this book.
Might just get some answers yet.....
you gotta update that picture to include Robert Blake. Another freed celebrity.
LOL! Great pic!
It's awesome that Fuhrman is looking into this. That creep Michael Skakel is in the slammer in no small part due to Fuhrman. He's really good at finding basic evidence that is hard to refute.
My goodness... You're good... Thanks! That is really awesome!
See the problem? That golfcart is getting too crowded!
Next case: Natalee Holloway and Amy Bradley.
I would be interested in Fuhrman doing some missing person cases.
Maybe one of those beercart type golf carts.
later read.
You gotta stick Robert Blake in there somewhere - maybe on a bumper. Then it would be a foursome.
WHOOOPS - ya got him! Now the pic is complete!
If our justice system doesn't improve, he's gonna need a bus.

????????? Still not big enough. The bus idea, may be the only solution!
Is that going to be the title of Michael's forthcoming book? I think it would make a great T shirt as well.
lol
Asked the wife before I posted we both did not get it.
Great pix.
Jury trials! Might as well be judged by a Jerry Springer audience.
He gets cuter the olde he gets.
Wish he had done/would do a book on JonBenet Ramsey.
I will buy this book !!! Thanks Mark. We LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent, Dr.PIX!!!!
Clever. You're right!
Juries, these days seems to be much dumber than earlier ones........and no common sense, either.
Char
I thought that was a fertilizer cart. The fresh green smelly kind
bump
Given Marks record if I were Michael Schiavo I would be sh******* in my pants.
Decent people have a duty to "take time off from work for this stuff". Our legal system will only work if "decent people" do that duty and sit on juries. It may cost you a few days work and a bit of money, but that's a lot cheaper than losing our country.
'Guess he was scared off the Vince Foster case though.
Another case...
Michele Harris of Spencer, NY.
Missing since 9/11, but not due to the attacks.
Wealthy husband - in the middle of a divorce - she had just turned down a settlement offer.
Her husband has publicly displayed his anger problem several times since her disappearance but is still considered an upstanding member of the local clueless community.
Would LOVE to see Fuhrman put a spark in an investigation that has gone dead.
LOL, Oh my that is deserving of Rodney Dangerfield
Whatever happened to the Coroner's report in the Schiavo case? Did I miss it??
Given the way Foster died Mark would be foolish to investigate it unless he likes to wear a brown carpet while being hauled around in the trunk of a honda.
My thoughts too, he is quite a handsome man
fyi
this should be interesting...
The problem is that decent people have decent jobs and can't afford the time or money loss. THESE people can. Unfortunately there is more of a "duty" to pay the bills and keep the job.
Really...like all the pundits today saying 'how suprised' they were at the Jacko verdict...please! How could anyone be so foolish as to have expected anything except innocent on all counts!
Thank you, Mark Furhman, wherever you are ...
People are rationalizing and defining down deviancy. It's scary.
nicely updated photo.
Last I heard, the autopsy still had not been released. It was 3 weeks over due at the time, now it's more like 5 weeks.
You don't often see the name "Mark Fuhrman" and the words "highly respected" collide in the same sentence.
