Dean Vows To Continue Trash-Talk - (is Dean taking the Democrat party down?)
MENS NEWS DAILY.COM ^ | JUNE 12, 2005 | SHER ZIEVE

Posted on 06/12/2005 1:06:48 PM PDT by CHARLITE

While a few Democrats appear to have been chosen by their Party to pretend to distance themselves (oddly…one of these notables is Sen. Joe Biden who never has a kind word for Republicans) from Howard Dean’s continuing backbiting of Republicans, the rest of the Dem leaders are quietly encouraging him.

One Dem hand is stretched out telling Dean to stop, while the other beckons for him to continue his tirades. As Dean continues his “I hate Republicans, Republicans are evil, Republicans never did an honest day’s work in their lives, [the Republican Party is] pretty much a white, Christian party” and further ad nauseam degrading remarks (they have almost become too numerous to mention) the Democrat Underground, MoveOn.org and the Michael Moore crowds continue to guffaw at them and praise him.

After all, these leftist groups (now the foundation of the Democrat Party’s ideology and its primary funding machine) seem to despise all who disagree with them, with the same unbridled rage as Dean displays.

Senator Reid, ostensibly, advised Dean to tone down his rhetoric. Wait a minute. Harry Reid? The same Harry Reid of “President Bush is a loser” and “President Bush is a liar. He betrayed Nevada and he betrayed the country” infamy? So, did Harry tell Howie “Do as I say, not as I do?”

Regardless of what Harry might have said, Dean announced Saturday that he has no intention of becoming rational. Besides, what fun would that be? Dean has already told all of us that he’s not a reasonable person. After his trip to the pretend woodshed, Dean spoke to Iowa Democrat Party activists in Des Moines and said: “We need to be blunt and clear about the things we're going to fight for. I'm tired of lying down in front of the Republican machine. We need to stand up for what we believe in.”

Guess no doubt remains, now, as to whether he’ll stop or continue. However, one problem still remains, with Dean’s comment. Other than ‘I/we hate everyone who isn’t a leftist’, no one has any idea (other than their raising taxes and bringing down the USA) what the New Democrat Party believes in. Despite hard questions from interviewers (notably Chris Wallace and even George Stephanopoulos), no Democrat will tell us! So, we’re left with: ‘Dem rage is the Dem program’.

I have no idea whether or not Dean’s diatribe is hurting or helping Democrats or Republicans. What I do believe, however, is that it has brought the US’ political process to a new low and it reinforces the belief of many that politics is the nastiest, crudest and one of the most despicable of professions. As these politicos “lead” our country, this unending nastiness is something that we the people should no longer tolerate.

If anything lowers us in our own eyes, it’s this non-stop mean-spirited behavior. But, Dean, specifically, as well as Reid, Pelosi et al will not stop in any foreseeable future. Has the Democrat Party has become suicidal? Probably not but, one thing is certain.

The New Democrat Party has become the safe-haven of every miscreant, ne’er-do-well and angry person in the country. A once healthy and “for-the-people” strong political party has become the bastion for intolerance and hatred. And Howard Dean is sounding its call to arms…

They've been trying to demonize Christians and white males in this country for some time now, and unbelievably, many of the persecutors are white 'Christian' males, (like John Kerry et al).

I think this is a well-planned effort to energize the Michael Moore Democrat base. The Party leaders exhibit mock condemnation while secretly applauding the Deaniac. I think it's also just one part of a massive coordinated effort to demonize the Iraq war and bring the Republican legislative efforts to a halt. What you can't achieve by the vote, maybe you can by telling hysterical lies that the media will help you amplify.

No matter how one slices it, what he is doing is being done for political reasons only. After all he is a Democrat.

The question to ask is why is he doing it and what is the advantage to the Dem's by him doing it.

Forgive my ignorance.

I believe I heard on the radio (Rush?) that Dem contributions were way down under Dean's stewardship.

Anybody have the facts on this? TIA

"(is Dean taking the Democrat party down?)"

I certainly hope so. By allowing Dean to continue trashing republicans .. there is no way the dems will make up ground in red states. And .. while Dean's lying and saying he's reaching out to repubs .. he's only meeting with dems in red states.

On the otherhand .. we have Mehlman who is not trash talking about the dems .. and he's actually making great inroads into the black democrat community.

Perhaps Dean is trying to isolate ALL christians (not to be confused with leftwing wacko selective belief faith) into the Republican party.

Of course isolating a MAJORITY into a MAJORITY party seems tactically stupid.

Everything the socialists are now saying about us is what they have always been, been accused of and indeed have been proven to be.

As I listen to the maniacal rants from any one of these socialists, I hear echo's of the factual accusations by us (manifested 12 or 13 years ago and ignored/denied by the MSM and even celebrated [final? x42 speech in hanger ... "I haven't left yet ... "]).

I'm beginning to wonder if the entire reality show populace mingled with the who wants to be a millionaire/fear factor/friends mentality may just be guiled into a more fantastic coup than the alleged LBJ over JFK so many (but not really) years ago.

We keep being told that it is the days of Viet Nam they can't forget and let go of, but maybe even that is part of the red herring ... it is that fateful day in Dallas that never brought the results they wanted.

Now?

I think we need to more careful than ever that we don't allow this latest madness snowball out beyond our control or ability to stop them.

Carville and Begala need employment - I think you are correct.

Depending on the outcome of the 2006 Congressional elections, I believe the public will vote for the Democrat in the 2008 Presidential election...regardless of the two nominees.

That is why we need a strategery. IMHO we should be promoting Mark Warner (presently Dem Gov of Virginia)as the Democratic nominee. Otherwise we can look forward to 8 years of President Hilary Clinton.

I think Mark Warner could pull of the Dem nomination, with Primary from decent Democratic voters and disaffected Republicans. Should we have an exceptional 2008 Republican Presidential candidate then the best man wins. At least it will not be Hilary!

story seems to be that Dem contributions are way down this year, but their spin is that the donations are up from 2003, the last non-election year. In the meanwhile, the GOP is just pulling it in, at something like 3-4X the DNC receipts.

Unlikely. Although the elections are 3 years away, and the MSM is making appear to be tomorrow, Hitlery has at least two things against her.

1) She's Hitlery

2) She's a Senator.

They've announced as much. Papers are being drawn up and will be introduced in Congress soon, using the so-called Downing Street Memo along with anything else they can dream up or manufacture as a basis. It will center about WMD.

If you don't mind getting a little soiled you can learn more here: Impeach Bush Now
