No, I am not going at this from "should have" or blaming the car manufacturer.
I am just saying it would be great if a car manufacturer invented a safety feature for kids, to remind drivers.
This tragedy could have been prevented with the simplest routine possible - just check his van/car when he turned the engine off and locked up. Common sense is free. He was paid to keep the kids safe.
NO ONE will watch over your children as well as you.
Oh, my God. Sickening.
Why should car amkers be responsible for this? Maybe the makers of car seats could add a feature....but it is the adults who leave the kids that are to blame.
We don't kill people because of accidents.
SCUMBAG!
I agree with you that the adults are to blame.
I just said (last time I am saying it) that it would be great if car manufacturers would invent a safety feature to remind people a kid is still in the car/van, that is all. I am not blaming the car manufacturer!!!!
True. However, there are instances where the parent forgets to take their child out of a vehicle.
In any case, it is an outrage. I will never understand it and pray this never happens to me with my children.
Even parents do this though. I can't imagine my wife or I leaving our boys like this when they were young. But there are many things I see in the papers everyday that I can't believe.
Not again!!!
I think some smart inventor could do it & market the product to parents instead of the car makers passing that cost on to all car buyers. I don't have kids...why should I have that in my car?
If it has been measured and found that vehicles in general have inadequate ventilation, a carbon monoxide detector might serve as a way to alarm a vehicle.
What gives you this idea?
When I was in college, I worked part time at a day-care during the summer months. I rode shotgun in a van that would pick up and drop off kids each day. We always made sure the van was safe and that all the children were accounted for. I don't recall there being a law requiring that we do this- it just made sense.
Another season of sweltering deaths begins... (sigh)
So, okay, let's say car manufacturers installs a device like that. What happens when it malfunctions? Now, people are going to want to sue the car manufacturers for the malfunction that resulted in a child's death. We don't need more lawsuits, what we need are more people to be attentive and people to take responsibilities for their own actions. Point blank.
Yes, you seem to have the pronounciation and accent down perfectly.
The result of treating children like cattle.
