I was referring to the nitwit principal, not the teacher. Your post seems to imply that I was disparaging the teacher when my target was the principal (BTW: what kind of name is "Ulrica"? It sounds like a medical problem).
I emailed her and told her to resign because she permitted her own idiology to get in the way of her job. Bet she never reads any of the emails.
School Board members need targeted on having this left winger in charge of a school who lies.
Thanks for the update -- glad to see the County Party jump on this one and do the right thing. The RATs are going to rue the day one of their own dissed a Marine that wanted to thank these students.
"That's the problem. She wasn't thinking. She was just stupid."
Nope! Sounds more like a ACLU brainwashed idiot to me!!
I got the same thing back. Maybe AMERICANS outnumbered her leftist friends in her mailbox. I love it when they are outed like this for the world to see but not at the cost of insulting one of our brave men. I wouldn't spit on this woman if she was on fire.
Love your remarks!
I think the principal knew exactly what she was doing and is now the darling of her local left-wing coffee house commies association.
I image, She though, *sneering* "These County Rubes, are SO uneducated, SO unsophisticated, SO mindlessly religious/patriotic" ...a typical NEA Mindset.
The sacred writ of state-controlled education: Policy.
Read, think, post. Read, think, post. I think I've got it now.
Dear Ms. Corbett,
As a mother, veteran, and proud citizen of this nation, I was disappointed to learn that you, as principal of Anita White Carson Middle School, prevented a United States Marine from speaking to 6th graders at your school. I am saddened that you stood in the way of your students meeting Sergeant Richardson, a Marine with whom they had so eagerly corresponded during his tour of duty in Iraq.
News reports suggest a dispute over whether Sergeant Richardsons visit was properly authorized. Maybe so. But why not allow Sergeant Richardson to speak with the students, while you quietly resolved the issue of authorization? Why your adamant refusal to allow this meeting to occur? Why was the teachers paperwork requesting authorization ignored? Why has the superintendent apologized, but not you? It is hard not to draw the conclusion that perhaps your personal feelings regarding the conflict in Iraq, or the War on Terror, or the President, cloud your thinking in this matter. Yet, regardless of your political views, your decision to turn Sergeant Richardson away at the schoolhouse door reflects, at best, a profound lack of judgment.
I hope this e-mail joins thousands of others condemning your actions last week. I further hope that, as a result, you have learned something about the nature of this country and those who support it and its heroes. I only wish that people like you -- who demonstrate an apparent lack of respect for those who would give their very lives for you and the nation they love -- would not have such immense influence on the lives and education of our nations children.
I wonder if she disconnected her email after seeing the one I sent her?.
