no this is Robbie Gordon being a BIATCH....
he is crying because a woman would kick his butt in a race and he knows it...
his ego is too fragile.
He should stick to CAUSING wrecks in NASCAR, because that is what he does best....
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa
With the way race cars suck down fuel, and all the science behind their aerodynamics weight isn't an advantage at all. Robbie's just a whiner.
Gordon is a whiner...
Boo frickin' hoo Robby. Doesn't he race against Jimmy Johnson all the time. He can't weight much more than a buck thirty.
Robbie needs to go back to playing in the dirt.
I am certainly not Robby Gordons biggest fan, but every race I've been in, the car & driver were weighed togehter.
Guess Gordon doesn't realize what a wuss he sounds like.
Maybe Robbie Gordon ought to go on a diet.
I think I heard Nascar equals out the cars..im not sure maybe im wrong but someone said it on ESPN and you know how they are..
I would think her being a hundred would give her advantages but im not a gearhead so not sure but if he didnt have a problem with guys being 50 or 60 less then shut up dude....
A higher IQ!!!
I WAS impressed with Danica.....but then I saw the spread she did for the New York Post (I think it was that mag.) where she is dressed like a slut on the cover. I lost complete respect for her and wish she would set a better example for the young girls who watch her.
She is no better than Paris Hilton.
In related news, New York Knicks Center Jerome Williams says that he will no longer play in NBA games agains Yao Ming, citing height advantage.
In related news, Oakland A's pitcher Barry Zito says that he will no longer play in MLB games agains Vladimir Guerrero, citing strength advantage.
In related news, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi says that she will no longer participate in debates against Republicans, citing intelligence advantage.
If Gordon is so concerned about weight... he should drink a quart or two of Ex-Lax before the races to clean out all of the bull$hit whining inside him.
Make more birdies....
(Translation: just be the better driver....)
Yumpin' Yiminy... all the whining...
Oh, Robbie, quit being such a little girl....
Robby is a wuss
Here is the old thread on the Sports Illustrated article:

Hey Robbie, want some cheese with that whhhhiiiiinnnnneeee?
If it is such an advantage, why aren't race teams just getting the smallest and lightest people possible to drive their cars?
if i was robbie, id have to get an oath from her stating she wouldnt use a cell phone during the race instead of adjusting for the weight advantage.
In thew 50s the big joke was always that we were going to train a 12# mongoose to drive the race car!
My future partner in a speed shop stuck me in his rail when I was 12 and I went 128 in his 1/4x5/16 flathead at Santa Ana. I was 6' tall and only weighed about 130#.
Dan Wheldon, who won the race, only weighs 157. Why isn't Robby Gordon whining about his weight being an advantage?

Looks like bulemia may be the wave of the future in racing; and then women suffer the disadvantage of hormonal imbalance, breast weight overbalancing, and lower upper body strength ~ this guy can lose some weight!

I do think it is stupid to state he won't run against her. She is there legally and can't help what she weighs.
It is an advantage for her, however. Not one that can't be overcome obviously, she didn't win!

That being said, Robbie Gordon is acting like a fool and not helping his team at all. He needs to get over it and do the job he was hired to do.
Well what does he want them to do!?
Force feed her cheesecake and Krispy Kremes for a month?
Geez....
Awwww ... You're afraid of getting your tail kicked by a girl.
"CRASH" Gordon should become a jocky.
Poor widdle Robby. Afraid to race the widdle girl.
Is Robbie Gordon gay?
Why in the world would he not want to bumb and grind against Danica?

So if someone is driving out there with a hurt wrist, for example- the IRL should tie everyone's hand??
It is what it is Robbie-deal with it.
I don't know about Gordon's complaints, but if I were a racing fan I'd be more concerned that IRL would "stage" a victory by Danica Patrick just to garner some good publicity. Indy-car racing has been in decline for years, and of all the things that qualify as "spectator sports" these days, motor racing is the one that comes closest to that fine line that separates a competitive sport from a staged, WWF-style event.
Having said that, there is clearly some sort of double standard in play and it was on full display this weekend.
Had a male driver taken out two women drivers on a caution lap, and finished fourth, he probably wouldn't have appeared on every morning news show the next day to great adulation.
Metro-sexual Testos-Estrogen dysfunction.. obviously..
Hormonal battle of the pussified..
i.e. Quasi-Lesbianism -or- Bull-Dagger meets Bull-Spermer
What an epic wuss.
Must be the wind drag on his over-sized helmet.
LOL, what a wuss
Lose some weight Robbie.
He said in order to join the PGA he would need a cart. He wasnt allowed an "advantage" to play.
Any similarities...
Danica is hot
Robbie Gordon, driver of leakers.
Robbie Gordon is a whiney little beyotch. Robbie, how about using that hot wind to blow out the rear of your car to propel your car faster.
Somehow, I doubt weight is much of an advantage. If it were, you'd see drivers embrace anorexia like long-lost relatives. Besides, any gain in performance would have to be weighed against a corresponding loss in stamina...
NASCAR adjusts the weights on their cars according to the size of the driver. Michael Waltrip, who is about 6-5 and 230 lbs., is allowed to drive a lighter car than say, Jeff Gordon, who is a lot shorter and lighter.
IRL cars weigh less than half what NASCAR vehicles weigh. The lighter the driver, the faster the car, and the better the fuel mileage. So a skinny driver in an Indy car has a significant advantage.
Robby Gordon is catching the wrath of those who desperately want a woman to win a race, but he's not doing anything but stating the obvious.
Unless the IRL follows NASCAR's lead, soon all Indy drivers will have to be like horse jockies, thin and short.
NASCAR incorporates the weight of the driver into the weight equation, IRL does not. Depending upon the weight differential it can be 10ths of a mile per hour faster, which in theorgy could be the difference. Similar weight requirements are also utilized in horse racing as well; where smaller jockeys and larger horses must carry additional weight.
Stop whining, get in the car and drive.
