WHAT THE....
That was just my usual signature link to my blog guys - there were no "playboy pictures" there. What did you think???
OMG!
I never had so many people on my blog at one time.
Hopefully someone will take the time to read something ;-)

Note to the people freaked about this:
The girls in the real Playboy, and other nudie mags, are about the same age as hs seniors.

Yup. A day at the beach would certainly show more skin.

Hey, it was an interesting read without pics of this party.
I saw the story on the local news. At the time it was only worth an eye-roll.
These are the same offended parents who scream about the song "Tequila" (from the 50's) that high school bands used to play causing teenage alcoholism. Oh and they are the parents complaining about the legislature wasting time and money legislating the appropriate level lewdness of the cheerleaders and drill teams.

As the parent of a teenage young lady (now a new "senior"), you are all missing the point of this. Why would these girls feel the need to dress the part of Playboy Bunnies? Obviously, they are trying to create an impression in the community that goes against their standards. THAT is what the hoopla is about. I would definitely be upset to learn that my child dressed in such a suggestive, raunchy manner - thus sending the wrong message. I have been an educator for many years, and yes, girls do dress too suggestively at school. That could explain the teen pregnancy rate in most high schools in the south.

Was the party held at the school? Public schools spend a lot of time sexualizing children at a young age & so why are people surprised when the kids act like hussies???

ToT,
Oh, I agree.
I just wanted to point out that the 18 year-olds in skin mags are some mommy and daddy's little girl, not so very different in age or, perhaps, attitude as some of the girls at this party.
They're older than their parents realize, perhaps.

Was the party held at the school? Nope. This had nothing to do with the school.
This was a private party. Nothing illegal went on there. Some of these kids were 18. For those that were younger, presumably their parents gave them permission to go to this shindig.
This is much ado about nothing.

no, just an image grabbed from google.

Ummmm....OK. But you again ignore the fact that these same girls wear FAR less covering when swimming/sunbaithing. Gee - I guess it's ok to dress in near-nothing in public, but not at a private chaperoned party - where they actually wear more clothing....
I would not allow my child to attend a "Playboy" themed party. Yet these alumni and parents didnt' get upset until a picture leaked out.
