Wonder if you could get a confession out him via Koran flushing?

I'm suprised he hasn't been popped sooner. He's a notorious drug/alcohol type.
This really is good news. One less drunk on the streets during the Memorial Day Holidays.

Ol'Oliver MUST have been STONEd.
To satisfy Supreme Court guidelines, you have to post signs warning "Checkpoint Ahead" for 1/4 mile before the check, and you have to give the publc an "alternate route" somewhere between the signs and the check point.

Gee another member of Hollywood under the influence.

What a surprise.

Can't wait for the next Washington Post or LA Times interview. Then once again, Stone will give us his pearls of wisdom on world politics and the meaning of life.

Oliver Stone is a maggot-infested dope-smoking brain-rotted hippie-has-been? Who knew?

The guy is one of the biggest coke heads out there. A friend of mine worked on a movie with him and said half the time the idiot was in his trailer snorting up coke like a vacuum. This is why he probably goes to Cuba all the time and kisses Castros butt so he can get coke. I hope they throw the book at the jackass. That movie Scarface he wrote, that was his whole fantasy about having unlimited coke. Yeah Oliver, cocaine is sooo cool.

He was probably on crack. No wonder he made all those stupid movies. Many thanks to the police force.

He should be serving a ten year sentence for producing "Nixon".

Ollie...ya killin' me. You went out driving drunk...with drugs in your car...in Los Angeles...on Memorial Day weekend? Dude, you know the cops in So Cal are looking for drunk and stoned drivers on three-day weekends like Bill Clinton is looking for hottie interns anytime. You know better than that.

See, this is exactly why I question evolution. You'd think this kind of stupidity would breed out, and it doesn't.

Come on, Oliver Stone is one of the beautiful people. Laws don't apply to him.

Drunk driver and police checkpoints...who do I root for?

The Driver to make it home safely, then cops on patrol to notice erratic driving. Check points are for Nazi's.

He did an interview with a female journalist a few years ago, and basically sexually harassed her during the interview. Rush read the transcript on his show, and it was shocking.

*************

I wonder if he might have Alzheimer's:

Frontal Lobe: Irrational

The frontal lobe helps carry out purposeful behaviors and complex reasoning. When Alzheimer's strikes the frontal lobe, victims lose the ability to plan and initiate complicated activities like balancing a checkbook. That's why it becomes important to break processes into simple steps. This loss of processing skills makes reasoning with people who have Alzheimer's virtually impossible. People with Alzheimer's are not being stubborn; their brains just aren't healthy enough to carry out the complex processes that logic demands.

Frontal dysfunction (combined with amygdala problems) also leads to a loss of inhibition, which may cause behaviors such as undressing in public, swearing and making inappropriate statements.

Root for the checkpoints in this case.My wife and I came very close to going head on with a drunk last weekend. The idiot was so far left of center that I had to do a little offroading to avoid him.

Brilliant quotes by Oliver Stoned;

"If I were George Bush, I would shoot myself. I think he lives in fear of drinking again. There's nothing more dangerous for America than an ex-alcoholic President who tells you to believe in Jesus."

"The Cold War has been the most irritating thing to me personally. Throughout my life we've been in the grip of militarism and military budgets and a mindset that dictates a war on Communism, and that's a drain on the national energy. The real enemy is nationalism and patriotism."

"The Indians once told me that stones are the most revered and ancient of recording devices. And that perhaps I am here on this Earth to write of these mute histories - just another stone, an 'Oliver' stone."
