If you at least get a few chuckles out of "Happy Gilmore" you have no soul.

The only other person who I can recall who is equally unfunny, is Chevy Chase.

Or Jim Carrey..

Actually, Chevy Chase was the only part of "Caddyshack" that wasn't really funny. The last funny thing he did was "Weekend Update" on SNL with "Francisco Franco is still dead..." Actually, Saturday Night Live didn't really get funny till he left and they brought in Bill Murray to take his place.

Give Adam Sandler credit for having an occasional funny moment now and then to mix with his purely sophomoric behavior.

I kind of like the idea of bringing those teams back. If nothing else, the Oakland Raiders would finally have a worthy farm system.

I read the big SNL history book that came out a couple years back. Chevy Chase wasn't very well liked by the cast members either. He was brought back years later as a host and the cast members of those shows had problems with him as well. Very arrogant.

when it comes down to it, his music sucks.

Try "The River." I can think of few better albums.

You're probably right...but the concerts are getting tedious. I will listen to it and let you know...

thanks.

Yes, I agree with everything you say. Chevy was the most over rated entertainer, and when he would host shows for Carson and others... he was an interviewer that tried to steal the show.

Big difference as Johnny would always make the guest look good. Chase would do the opposite. Make the guest look bad so I look good.

A couple of the "Vacation" movies are pretty funny, especially the original and the Christmas one.

I think Carrey is naturally a very gifted comedian. His work in Living Color really is amazing.

Try "Point Blank," "Stolen Car," and "Ramrod." They'll give you a sense of the album's diversity. If those songs don't appeal to you, the rest of the album probably won't.

I admit, I've only listened to him live... and not on cd which may be all together different.

Thank you.

Give Adam Sandler credit

THe ONLY funny thing Adam Sadler ever did was Opera Man.

The rest was worse than sophomoric.
