WHOOPI Goldberg is still mad at the Democrats. Goldberg, who was renounced last summer after making a lame double entendre about George W. Bush at a John Kerry fund-raiser, told Air America's "Politically Correct" host David Bender: "My party abandoned me. There's no other way to say it: they put their tails between their legs and they ran. I've closed my eyes to the party. I haven't turned my back on them, but I no longer feel comfortable saying that I feel like I'm represented by them. Until people can stand up for what's right in the face of whatever is flying at you, nothing is going to change."

"Hanging on the fourth floor, just steps from the boardroom seen each week on national television, was a noose," alleges crew member George Hogan, a Brooklyn resident, who says he does not believe the noose was used as a prop for the show.
"The minority employees were shocked and disappointed that their fears and concerns of being discriminated against were so obviously correct," Hogan says in a complaint in Manhattan Federal court. A secretary at producer Mark Burnett's office said no one was available for comment.

Former CNN International anchor Riz Khan has been signed to host a call-in talk show on the English-language Al-Jazeera International News Channel when it launches next year, the network said today (Tuesday). The program is due to air live daily from Washington DC. In a statement, Al-Jazeera International Managing Director Nigel Parson described Khan's program as "the most exciting television news and current affairs project in decades. It will revolutionize the global news industry by offering viewers across the world a fresh perspective on news."
Why does she need a whole party to stand up for her? Stand alone. As long as you know who you are and what you believe in you don't need a crowd to validate you or to make you feel better about yourself and your beliefs. That makes you a leader and not a follower. She is right. They used her to raise money, applauded her insults to Bush, Kerry called her the soul of the party, and then ran and pretended they didn't know her name when people didn't like the nastiness.
Maybe spend a little less time on the personal insults and more on the content of the article. This is a good example of the dem throwaway attitude towards blacks. If she realizes it, and openly speaks of it, that's not a bad thing. Maybe the message will get through where it may do some good.
