Yes, they are. And I am here to see it all. They did this about five years ago regarding a ministry that met in the Church next to my son's high school and invited students for lunch. My step-dad, an attorney here, battled them successfully the first time. I can't fathom how they could even come back and try this again.

Nice move dropping your expectations like that.

...the Kinsey 2-6ers works with faculty and staff via the Kinsey Caucus to provide visibility of the lives of GLBSTQ people in the medical community as well as raise awareness of the needs and concerns of GLBSTQ patients.

Ever notice that bars and night clubs are always an important listing of social gathering places for these people?

Sorry, I was busy cleaning my eyes with brillo pads after pulling that stuff out of Net Cache.

I can't get over all the children's services and programs that are integrated with these people and their organizations.

I think what gives people pause is the myth that "they can't help it" and that its only fair to treat them with "respect". But "respect" is NOT the same as acceptance and encouragement.
People want to be "nice". No one wants to have children suffer and yadayadayada.
GLSEN and others play on that mercilessly. Parents feel guilty and many become convinced that they SHOULD be supportive.

But there is a big difference in keeping some 'mo from being beaten up everyday and telling him that he is just as right as everyone else. He is not. For whatever reason he is broken. Just like the kid with the cleft palate is. We do not have "days of silence" or handouts saying that cleft palates are normal.
I don't recall any classes that said oral sex is great, here's how you do it.
That is NOT the function of a school.
But no one wants to say it anymore or, worse, try to put a stop to it. The atmosphere has been created that if you speak out against it, you are preaching "hate" or whatever vile twisting of logic they choose to use. Minimize and marginalize. Works everytime.[And right thinking people fall for that game everytime].
Now, they even have the power of the state trying to punish people who believe its wrong, who believe its unnatural and who believe it should not be taught to kids.
These are sad and disgusting times.

That's a good analysis. The sheep have been cowed. But I hesitate to let parents off the hook, since they are by nature their children's primary educators, and far too many of them are rolling over for this.

Oh absolutely!
Those parents who roll over or actively believe its the right thing to do need to have their heads examined. They are the ones who should be howling the loudest!
The poor kids are the losers in all of this. That father in Mass who was arrested for trespassing trying to protest this type of stuff being taught to a 6yr old? That has a chilling effect on parents. What parent wants to hear from their child that their teacher called the parents homophobes or worse when the child says "My daddy says this is not right...", anecdotal to be sure, but it HAS happened here in NC in the Raleigh area...just can't put my finger on the source.
Sad times.

Jesus said: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6
