I've read the comments so far and they seem sort of leukwarm imho. Here's the deal; this crap has gone far enough. These "groups" are nothing but pedophilic, christophobic, perverts. Fisting? Say what? Someone's distributing that filth to children? They should be hung from the nearest tree. I'd wouldn't be happy with anything less than a criminal investigation and successful prosecutions. The ACLU needs to be run out of town on a rail also as well as all the other enablers of the degenerate filth doing this and getting away with it. Sorry for the rant, I had to get that off my chest.

Brookline, MA 02445

Keynote Speaker - Heather Matarazzo has been acting in film, television and on stage since she was seven years old. She starred last year in the GSA favorite, Saved, and has had roles in The Princess Diaries, Welcome to the Dollhouse, The Devil's Advocate and Scream 3. Heather has appeared on Broadway in The Women, and she has appeared on the television series Now and Again, Townies, Roseanne, ER, and Law and Order.

Last year, in an interview with the New York Daily News, Heather spoke about being in love. Unlike many young actresses, she did not avoid the pronouns, but said proudly of her girlfriend, "She's not famous yet. She will be". Her ability to live openly and honestly and to feel proud of herself and the good things in her life make her a beacon of hope and a role model for young people. Throughout her career, Heather has often chosen roles which explore characters who have faced challenges or social ostracism. With her talent, she adds a sense of humanity and an inner strength to those individuals struggling to find acceptance. In other roles she has been a friend, a support and someone who people are glad to have around. As an individual, Heather Matarazzo embodies all of those traits and has taken time to speak out about the need to face our challenges, combat intolerance, and as importantly, to identify things in which to find hope.

Why aren't the GLSEN members charged with distributing porn to children?

They should be and then they should be registered as sex offenders, although maybe they already are.

Whatever happens dont destroy the pamphlets.

Montgomery County Maryland wants them to use as textbooks for their queer classes.

This guide was made possible by the continued efforts of both the Office of Recruitment and Multicultural Affairs and
the Kinsey Caucus/2-6ers at Harvard Medical School in their mission to make the Harvard Medical Community a safe
and comfortable place for all.
We hope you have found this material informative and useful, and we appreciate any comments and any information
you want included in the next edition.
The Kinsey 2-6ers, is a coalition of gay, lesbian, bisexual, straight, transgendered, and queer (GLBSTQ) students at
Harvard Medical School. So-named for the scale of sexual orientation developed by sexuality researcher Alfred
Kinsey in the 1940s, the Kinsey 2-6ers works with faculty and staff via the Kinsey Caucus to provide visibility of the
lives of GLBSTQ people in the medical community as well as raise awareness of the needs and concerns of
GLBSTQ patients.
For our members, the group provides a forum to discuss issues particular to being GLBSTQ and a health
professional. Amongst our allies and mentors are GLBSTQ faculty, staff, and residents. Throughout the year, we
sponsor a variety of events including films, speakers, workshops, and social gatherings. We encourage people of all
orientations to participate, including 0’s and 1’s who are supportive of the concerns of GLBSTQ!
The information listed herein has been compiled by the Kinsey 2-6ers with the support of the Office of Recruitment
and Multicultural Affairs (ORMA) at Harvard Medical School to aid GLBSTQ students in identifying Harvard-affiliated
and Boston-area cultural, social, commercial, and supportive resources.
Students are invited to complete the form at the end of this publication and return it to ORMA as well as speak to
members of the Kinsey 2-6ers to make suggestions on how to expand and improve this
resource guide.

Harvard GLBTSQ E-mail Lists
Harvard’s GLBTQ community has several e-mail listservs, which can be somewhat confusing. The way all the
mailing lists work is that any message you send to the list is forwarded to everyone on the list. Here’s a summary of
the lists and how they work:
• The Harvard-MIT, etc.lbg list
lbg-local-news@mit.edu
• The Harvard-only lbg list
lbg-harvard@mit.edu
Event information only. Messages sent to lbg-local-news go to some 700 students, faculty, staff, alumni, etc. at
Harvard, MIT and other area schools. Messages sent to lbg-harvard go just to a few hundred Harvard people, all
of whom are also on lbg-local-news - use lbg-harvard when an event is limited to the Harvard community. Do not
send the same message to both lists - it will be bounced back to you. To get on or off this list send a message to
lbg-local-news-request@mit.edu, NOT to the list.
• Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus
newsletter@hglc.org
This list is for communications once or twice a month from the Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus to its 2,300
members (Alumni, Faculty and Staff), Harvard administrators and interested students. You can get a message
on this list only by submitting it to newsletter@hglc.org and having it included in the next update - it is not
automatically forwarded to the members of the Caucus. To get on or off the Caucus e-mail list contact
membership@hglc.org.
• Kinsey 2-6ers listserv
k2to6ers@hms.harvard.edu
The anonymous distribution list for all HMS/HSDM related GLBSTQ events, including any communication
between members of Kinsey2-6ers. All requests (subscribe, unsubscribe, etc.) should go to k2to6ers-
request@hms.harvard.edu. As usual, you can always request information by sending the text 'help' in the body
of a message to k2to6ers-request@hms.harvard.edu.
• Kinsey Caucus listserv
kinseycaucus@hms.harvard.edu
For information pertaining to the Kinsey Caucus, including faculty, staff, and affiliates pertaining to GLBSTQ
communication. To be added, please contact Don Gibbons at don_gibbons@hms.harvard.edu.
• Queer Harvard Events Calendar
www.actwin.com/cgi-bin/calendar/index/qHarvard
This calendar allows you to list meetings and other events to inform people and help avoid conflicts. It is
intended for events on campus or events sponsored by Harvard groups only. You can enter your listing yourself.

Et cetera
Boston is a great place to be GLBSTQ, let me tell you. Overall the city is pretty tolerant, but there have been
incidents of gay bashing and name calling. There are lots of queer and queer friendly stores, cafes, clubs and such.
Here are some listings of the various neighborhoods and events that are uniquely Boston.
• Boston Pride
Happens first or second week of June and includes a weeklong festival hosted by various gay establishments in
Boston culminating in a big parade and a festival on the Boston Commons. Talks, socials, and parties happen all
over the city.
• Boston Youth Pride
Held in April or May and is a congregation of all the gay/straight alliances at high schools all over
Massachusetts. Hosted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. Includes a March through the
center of Boston, lots of activities and booths to visit, and a Boston Gay and Lesbian Youth Prom!
• Cambridge
Better known for its Harvard and MIT crowd, it also has some trendy neighborhoods such as Inman Square,
Davis Square, and Central Square.
• The South End
The “gay ghetto” of Boston. Located just south of Copley Square (green line) and Back Bay Station (orange line),
it's a pretty affluent neighborhood and very artsy.
Somerville
The neighboring town of Cambridge and home to artists, students, and alternative-types. Be sure to check out
both Porter and Davis Squares, trendy neighborhoods just north of Harvard Square on the red line.
• Jamaica Plain
Just south of Harvard Medical School at the end of the Green E line. Very ethnically diverse and is home to
lesbians more than gay men.
• Provincetown
Located at the tip of Cape Cod, P-town as it is called is the summer resort town that is home to artists, fishers,
and a large GLBTSQ contingent. Beaches, bike paths, galleries, and lots of cute little shops. You can take a 90
min ferry or drive 2.5 hrs.

I apologize in advance if this is too graphic but...

the simple definition is, make a fist and stick it in a bodily oriface.

Sorry!

Why anyone would think that is a pleasurable experience...well, that speaks volumes, does it not?

This is not the first time this group created a way to approach Boston school children. They had a very graphic
teach in session with interested children of high school age a few years ago that outraged parents. They told the kids anything they wanted to know about what
homosexual sex involved. They explained what slang terms were for various acts. I see the parents and the educators allowed the slime to ooze under the door again. They should know what this group wants. They want and need to
have access to your children.

I don't know why the people of MA allow this to continue. I guess because like most other places, these folk have caught everyone asleep. Now they are institutionalized and have enough parents convinced that they should welcome 'mo-ism with open arms that it is impossible to restuff pandora's box.

You answered your own question. Practicing Christians here are outraged. But we're the minority. Most people, and even worse, most parents, simply don't care.

Queer 13: Lesbian and Gay
Writers Recall Seventh Grade

ed. by Clifford Chase

A collection of essays that take us back to the doldrums of thirteen—the homerooms and hallways of our youth, from kissing parties and obsessive crushes to after-school pummeling's. It was a time of becoming who we truly are, a passage into adulthood that was as memorable as it was agonizing. Queer 13 captures both the searing, pointless punishment gay children endure and the illuminated superiority of knowledge that experience creates.

Woman Vision

Straight From the Heart is an Academy Award nominated documentary short that addresses the issues parents face when coming to terms with having a gay or lesbian child.  It presents simple stories about real people: a police chief who talks about how proud he is of his lesbian daughter, a Mormon couple whose son is believed to be the first gay man in Idaho to have died from AIDS, and a black woman and her two lesbian daughters who have been accused of  “catching” their lesbianism from white people.
