So, how do you electronically dog ear a page, highlight a phrase with a yellow marker, make notes in the margins, or stack them on shelves with multiple pieces of paper sticking out as bookmarks?
I've seen some adobe ebooks that you can highlight, annotate, tab and then later search for key words in your notes or the main text.

I can see the publishing industry transitioning to a secure pay as you go research database. A pay per search or a pay per printed or electronically saved page.
