I had the "pleasure" of teaching a lot of TaTa "programmers" how to work on a project for a major telecom.
These folks were REALLY nice, and most of them were really smart in their respective areas. However, they had absolutely NO CLUE how to program in a logical and orderly fashion. A lot of them had business degrees from Indian universities.
Outsourcing is a waste of time since the Indians do not understand the American system of business and therefore have no ability to program a proper business process. A lot of companies are finding this out the hard way...

A lot of companies are finding this out the hard way... I have my doubts if they are finding anything out at all, for outsourcing seems to grow by the day.
