Do you think hellary reminded Newt his FBI file is on the top ??

You got George Will changing his toon about Senate filibustering rules, along with Kennith Starr coming to the aid of rats. And now, Gingrich teams up with Hillary. What the F is going on?

FBI files ...hellary will do ANYTHING to get back in the oval office (this time WITHOUT monica)

Gingrich proposed a voluntary system for U.S. residents to create and maintain personal electronic health records. Each user would have a unique identification number that doctors could use to access the person's medical history -- a step that Gingrich said could decrease medical errors. Well if they computerize it that should fix everything.< /sarcasm>
On a recent trip to the doctor to get stitches:
Nurse: Are you allergic to anything
Me: Yes, Neosporin
Nurse puts a bright orange allergy label on my file and writes Neosporin on it.
A few minutes later after the physician's assistant has finished stitching me he gets out a little packet of something and is ready to put it on me.
Me: What's that?
Physician's Assistant: It's an antibiotic
Me: Which one?
PA: Neosporin.
Me: Look at the label on my chart and start over.
PA: Oops!
They can't handle bright orange labels with warnings I gave them 5 minutes before. How would a computer work any better?

FBI files I don't think you can explain everything away by continually citing 900 FBI files that are over a decade old.

"working better" would NOT be the purpose of the exercise. it's the federal government trying to gain 100 % control of medical care in America. period.

Neutered Newt having the support of Hitlery is not good.

many people (including me) use the "FBI files" as an "example" of how hellary will use ANYTHING and stop at NOTHING to get what she wants.
To: kingattax
It won't be too long before power will have a comprehensive dossier on everyone.
I guess it's time to invest in Oracle corp.

many people (including me) use the "FBI files" as an "example" of how hellary will use ANYTHING and stop at NOTHING to get what she wants. I think what's going on is politicians recognize power and gravitate to those possessing it.
Hitlary's obviously considered a politically powerful person by Republicans, no matter how abhorrent that thought is to most of us. Politicians, including has-beens like Newt, want to bask in some of that power, and get on her "good" side, hoping some of it will rub off on them.
To: skip_intro
remember all the money spent on that FBI computer system that eventually was scrapped? Are you referring to the $4.5 billion Homeland Security computer system that doesn't work, or is there another scrapped system I forgot about?
And don't forget the $4 billion IRS system that also didn't work, and was scrapped!
President Reagan once said, that it was a good thing we didn't get all the government we pay for. I fear for the day that we do.

the clintons history justifies being far more cynical than someone bedazzled with power just "wanting to be near hellary".
To: kingattax
I couldn't put it that way but you have assessed the current climate and asked the question that many of us want answered.
I think they are planning on handing the Presidency to the Dems for the next go round just as Poppy did for Billy-son.

as more and more Repubs (including the beloved Bushes) line up to kiss hellary's ample posterior, we will know.

What I believe is that the Republicans have become convinced of the inevitability of a Hitlary presidency and are sucking up to her to curry favor in a future Clinton II regime.

do you remember which person in government FIRST used the term "new world order" ?
To: kingattax
According to Gingrich, privacy concerns over health care identification numbers would be alleviated because the system would be voluntary. He estimated that about 90% to 95% of U.S. residents would use such a system Like if you do it voluntarily, nobody can invade your privacy? What he meant was that nobody would be FORCED to give up their privacy right away, but most people would give up their privacy anyway, probably without knowing it. The rest will join when no doctor will treat them without their compliance.
