A positive article on John Bolton from the New York Times? Inconceivable! And yet, here it is. Some negative points are stuck in there, but in the end, this article seems to favor him. Or maybe that's just because the things I feel are positive would make a liberal cringe.

I noticed that too, AND, it seems like they recently took a very strange position (for NYT) on another subject- I don't remember exactly what now- but I wondered at the time, were they maybe adjusting their outlook?

There is probably a bit of the latter, but I think it is more of a function that Mr. Bolton is indeed an excellent candidate, which any honest person would acknowledge. What the Democrats are engaging in by opposing his nomination is merely shameful obstructionism.
