Oh, you've been there too - how wonderful you got to see the Butchard Gardens. I wonder what they are like in the winter though.

Hi, Beth - am so glad you joined us again today! With bluebonnets and indian blankets blooming now, you must be in the Hill Country - my favorite part of Texas!

I would dearly LOVE to see some pix of your yard, Dolly.
Can you imagine the time it takes to 'sculpt' a topiary like that? There's not one tiny little leaf out of place on any of those perfectly-manicured shrubs!

Thanks for stopping by today - we had lots of beautiful Freeper 'gardens' posted on the thread a couple of years ago. Enjoy seeing all the pretty landscaping and flowers. :)

It was pretty nasty. The whole county looked like it was bombed out and we're still in clean up phase. (we actually were declared a national disaster)
Here's one of my beds in better years. Actually we just redid out back patio, retaining walls etc. Unfortunately the workers were a little overanxious to till the beds and I didn't get a chance to take out my many perennials. Stuff is started to pop out but right now it's "mystery" time! :o)
Okay, back to work!

I hope you enjoy these photos of wonderful animals and our lovely Kentish countryside Oh, I did! On a dialup, they were slow to load, but they are WONDERFUL! The quality and clarity of those photos is something else! Just beautiful! (I don't know what kind of animal that last one is, just before the gardens)
