Jane Fonda's book tour
Swiftvets and POWs for Truth website ^ | Tue Apr 12, 2005 | Terry Boone

Posted on 04/20/2005 7:15:10 PM PDT by Chieftain

Dear Everyone,

We were able just today to get the itinerary for Jane Fonda's book signing tour. We are encouraging all Vietnam Veterans and their family, as well as all concerned Americans, to protest her signings.

This is Operation Street Corner, now used for another traitor, Jane Fonda. Watch the Operation Street Corner website for pictures and information about our protests (http://operationstreetcorner.com/). There is nothing posted yet, as we are getting the word out first to our email listservers.

Thank you so much for your time and help! I will be sending out additional information about Jane soon.

See Hanoi Jane's schedule below to find the time and location nearest you. She will be in Atlanta, GA tomorrow (April 12) and the next day.

- Amanda Doss

Good ol' Commie-rella peddling her wares again. This little darling has her photo in the Hall of Friends and Heroes of the Revolution at the War Remnants Museum in Vietnam. Her pic is in there with members of the VVAW, CPUSA, American Socialist Party, Fidel Castro, etc. Her "apology" consists of her being sorry for being photographed on the AA gun, and not for having cavorted with the enemy. Slimy be-atch.

It was just an unfortunate accident.

The guy cleared his throat to spit out a lungie and the COMSYMP mistook the sound for a camera shutter.

Thanks for posting this. It breaks my heart that she won't be coming to Florida. Guess she's afraid to come see all the retired vets and Freepers here! It's probably better though cause I'd end up getting busted for screaming obscenities at the f...g b..tch!

The best Freeping would be to blow up poster size pictures of the POW's with a huge banner that says...

"Hanoi Jane makes blood money again on the sacrifices of American POW"s !"

"Hey Jane! How many times did you get off sitting on that Vietcong artillery? Was it more exciting than Ted?"

Yes, there was a spitting incident in Kansas City this morning, and I'm getting a bit concerned. I'm afraid that some of the rhetoric that has been thrown around lately may encourage someone to commit further violence against Fonda.

None of us should ever condone or encourage any type of violence against a woman no matter how dispicable the woman may be.

About Vietnam

The Vietnam war was the longest in our nation's history.
1st American advisor was killed on June 08, 1956,

and the last casualties in connection with the war occurred on May 15, 1975, during the Mayaquez incident. Approximately 2.7 million Americans served in the war zone; 300,000 were wounded and approximately 75,000 permanently disabled. Officially there are still 1,991 Americans unaccounted for from SE Asia.

Vietnam was a savage, in your face war where death could and did strike from anywhere with absolutely no warning. The brave young men and women who fought that war paid an awful price of blood, pain and suffering. As it is said: "ALL GAVE SOME ... SOME GAVE ALL"
The Vietnam war was not lost on the battlefield. No American force in ANY other conflict fought with more determination or sheer courage than the Vietnam Veteran.  For the first time in our history America sent it's young men and women into a war run by inept politicians who had no grasp of military strategies and no moral will to win. They were led by "top brass" who were concerned mainly with furthering their own careers, most neither understood the nature of the war nor had a clue about the impossible mission with which they'd tasked their soldiers.  And the war was reported by a self serving Media who penned stories filled with inaccuracies, deliberate omissions, biased presentations and blatant distorted interpretations because they were more interested in a story than the truth! It can be debated that we should never have fought that war. It can also be argued that the young Americans who fought so courageously, never losing a single major battle, helped in a huge way to WIN THE COLD WAR.

We all agree that what Fonda did thirty-five years ago is
reprehensible -- as was what John Kerry did -- but there
is a difference. Kerry, to the best of my knowledge,
never signed Form 180 or made ANY apology for his disgraceful behaviour. Jane Fonda was a Hollywood dimwit
and caught up in a very tumultuous period in American
history. I don't care about her book sales -- she doesn't
need the money. Perhaps she is trying, in her own way,
to say , "I'm sorry." Perhaps not. I don't pretend to be
certain because I can't read minds. But I do say that as
conservatives we should be faithful enough to our beliefs
that we can extend the benefit of the doubt and not be
full of rancour and hatred.

Thanks to Fonda and Kerry and the domestic communist front groups, this flag disappeared along with freedom of speech, property rights, personal liberty, and countless South Vietnamese. Hanoi Jane, do the cries of beaten and tortured villagers keep you awake at night? Do the hunger pangs of people starved, beaten, a worked to death in "reeducation centres" ever cross your mind you communist sympathising wh*re?

GV, I wonder the same thing about Ms. Hanoi J. Fonda.

When a person is strongly, strongly suspected of treason by a large fraction of the United States population, how does that person sleep at night? How does that person look a veteran in the eye? Doesn't she feel unwashably unclean?

I won't say that vets should go around spitting on J.F.; but (as a vet) I wouldn't blame them either.

Also, when you read the words of her "apologies", she does not really express remorse for cavorting with the enemy; she is sorry that she was photographed. If we learned anything from the years of President BJ it is that you have to listen carefully to the words of lefties in order to determine what they are truly saying.

Well, I guess then if you want to play by street rules ( which Hanoi Jane did in Vietnam) you better be prepared to play by street rules.

By the way, Jane NEVER yet gets what she did and never apologizes! If she..without a book deal....came on tv and point by point apologized with true repentence and shame, I could at least feel neutral about her. She is just sickening and now continues to insult all Vietnam vets and is ONCE AGAIN MAKING BLOOD MONEY off the sacrifices many Vets made in Vietnam!

I can't blame them, really. I only guess that Ms. Fonda is devoid of understanding the concepts of honor and duty. Too bad. Because there are things that are more important than your own life.

The people she betrayed were worth more than she will ever be. I guess you would have to go through life ignoring that, if you want to live with yourself.

I hear she became a Christian a few years back. I sort of hoped for her sake, she would recant. Make amends. Ask for redemption. But she never really did. She just keeps trying to "explain" herself. Who cares? She keeps missing the step of atonement. She keeps failing to acknowlege her crimes. And now she lives in a hell of her own making. I sure wouldn't want her life.

You apparently did not see her "apology" then. It was another slap in the face of veterans. She said she was sorry she got photographed sitting on the AA gun, not that she was a commie sympathizing bi*ch. She also admonished veterans for being mad at her as being wrongly focused anger. She is not sorry for what she did at all, and probably never will be until she is burning in that special place in hell.

No,I was not, but that is hardly the point. The fact that
a few were spat upon does not justify the point that
spitting upon people is JUSTIFIED - especially after 35+
years. Is this the way we choose to communicate with
people with whom we disagree? If so, we are guilty of a
moral equivalence that does us no justice. Besides, I
hope you are not falling into the trap that Viet Nam was
somehow a moral crusade that is finally being "justified"
-- please don't fall into that trap. That's all our
opponents need!

What I cannot understand about Jane Fonda, and others of her ilk, is that there are no bounds to her depravity. To wit:

1. She is a traitor and she encouraged others to be traitors 40 years ago.

2. Despite this she goes on in a self-righteous fashion to pursue her entertainment career. Moreover, when she was protested (I remember this from 20 years ago), her response was that the Vietnam Vets simply needed to "get over it."

3. 40 years later she issues an apology. Well, OK, I'm a Christian, I'll listen.

4. But, within a few days she is on C-SPAN giving a lecture about the mistakes we are making in Iraq. Her exact quote from a few days ago was: "In war, the first principle is that you need to know your enemy."

She actually said that!!!!

Jane Fonda, who was apologizing one day, was giving us military advice the next. Jane Fonda, actress, is giving Vietnam Vets and others military advice.

This is beyond comprehension for any decent, sane individual.

There is a Black Granite Wall in Washington D.C. with the names of those who died in Vietnam.....

Jane Fonda (along with John Kerry) painted those young men listed on that Black Granite Wall as rapists....murderers...as baby killers.

I do not believe that forgivness is in order.

Tonk - Your image of the book jacket Aid and Comfort got me thinking. I logged onto Amazon and ordered a copy (at a very reasonable cost, too).

I'd love to ask Hanoi J. Fonda to sign it, but they probably don't let holders of that book within spitting distance of her. 8^D

Hope you'll share photos of your meeting with her. Great way for some of us to enjoy the events "by proxy." Thanks. Hope you have a good time!

Make a dummy cover of her book (doable with Photoshop) and use it to cover your book. She'll only glance at the book long enough to place her "Ho Chi Minh" on the endpage.

I posted an article that discusses the passing of one of Jane's Fellow Travellers. How appropriate that one of Ho Chi Minh's advisors should die as Hanoi Jane launches her latest shameless self-congratulatory tome.

I think the pursuit of leftist dogma (that you refer to on your profile page) has somehow affected your view of Vietnam veterans in a harmful way. For your own revalation, I suggest you get off your high horse and go to a VA hospital/nursing home (there's on in Lake City, Florida), and visit with some permanently screwed up guys from Vietnam.

Go to a biker rally and meet some Vietnam vets and listen to their stories about how Hanoi Jane personally affected them. You will find out that many have endured years of the "Hanoi Jane scourge" regardless of of whether or not the were physically spat upon.

Idiots like Hanoi Jane and her boy, Traitor Kerry, thought they had slid past the radar, but both are finding out that they were: "WRONG THEN, and WRONG STILL TODAY".
