It's a funny thing about freedom, you either have it or you don't. It's not a gray area thing. If there are any strings attached to it you no longer have it. That's why wanttabe dictators love the gray areas or muddied waters because they allow them to nibble slowly away at freedom until one day people wake up and freedom is just a vague memory.

That's a very nice sentiment but in the real world actual disputes have to be resolved. I could give you a hundred examples of disputes that might arise in the workplace where an employee might want to be treated differently than fellow employees because of their religion. The bottom line is, do you really think that there can be no limitation on an employee's right to express their religion in the workplace, even if it is detrimental to the employer's business?

The Illinois governor is ignoring the conscience clause in Illinois. The radical left does whatever it wants to do.

You mean like the demand to face a certain direction 5 times a day, spread out a rug and grovel on their knees for about 30 minutes at a time? Those kind of peple just might do more than file a suit.

"The other "executive orders" I've mentioned, are only those that I'm aware of! I suppose I've been too AFRAID to see what else he's gotten in under the radar!"

Fear not. Fighting state power will be far easier than Federal power, best I can tell, particularly if people outside your state are backing you up.

But possible ease does not diminish the importance.

The Baby Killing Courts are now so convoluted that a new term has been coined in their honor: LEGALIZED MURDER. It's been around for a long while, and it is richly deserved.

First of all, you examples are ridiculous. People that live in fear don't seem to look at the present problem -It's never about the case at hand...it's always about the most far reaching "this could happen".

Seems like, in your opinion, we should have everyone leave their integrity and character at home before leaving for work....
fire the reporter if he refuses to put a slant to the story because it's not to your liking.
fire the nurses if they report mistreatment at the hands of their guardian.
fire the judge if he judges for life and liberty because "under God" and pro-life means nothing to you.

Your way or the highway!

Hire robots if you want that.

Yes I mean that exactly. Such a demand should not receive protection from the employer taking action. It seems like we agree. But you started the conversation by seeming to say that the right to express one's religious beliefs is unlimited, even in the workplace.
