Nichols' numerous bizarre connections in the Phillipines do beg for explanation.
Maybe the Embassy Suites clock was screwy? Then again it doesn't seem like with people's bills involved, inaccuracy would be tolerated for long.
Hope Rita doesn't have to read and understand a Supreme Court decision on-air. That could be painful to watch.

The bill is for eight days, i.e. FBI Agent Coulson checked in at the Embassy Suites nearly 9 hours prior to the bombing and lied about his whereabouts at the time of the bombing in his book.
If Rita had any intention of doing a legitimate report she would handed him a copy of the bill and asked him if that is his American Express credit card number, is that his receipt for eight days at the Embassy Suites, and why did he check in nearly nine hours prior to the bombing.
She won't. Nor will she mention Jayna Davis.
