As I understand from reading another article about her, her father was pretty distant, and when her mother committed suicide her father just told her she had died but not how. She found out, I think, when someone interviewing her told her how her mother had died. Not making excuses for her, but that has to screw you up some.

When I tuned over there, she was yelping about the fact that men hold all top jobs in media, and women can't get their voices heard. Nevermind the fact that there are plenty of successful women reporters and hosts in the media. I can't think of one instance where someone like Roger Ailes was main voice of Fox News.

The day Hanoi Jane was in the turret, my friend disappeared in Vietnam. They recently found his remains, and now she is back trying to grab headlines. Hopefully she will eventually meet her maker to receive judgement! I only hope that the sooner the better.

And she conveniently leaves out of her book one of her most notorious boyfriends: Andreas Votsinas (sic!) who created (and immortalized) the role of Carmen Gia in the film version of "The Producers." ("White, white, white! It's the color of our carpets!") There is an hilarious documentary from the early 60s called "Jane" which follows Miss Fonda and her ludicrous boyfriend, Andreas, when they were involved in a B'way bomb called "The Fun Couple."
How could she leave him out of the book??
