Ginger Lynn in her prime was much better looking than the plastic surgery enhanced Jenna Jameson. Unfortunately, Ginger Lynn has hit the Wall and HARD. I saw her recently on a documentary featuring a photographer taking photos of porn stars and the segment with Ginger Lynn was painful to watch. She was so bad off that they had to show her from a distance and even that was frightening.

Oddly enough, Nina Hartley was a Red Diaper baby. From what I understand she went into porn as some sort of political statement. Now she is in it for the $$$. However, the MOST ATTRACTIVE actress ever in porn was definitely Bridget Monet. She only made a few films and then disappeared. What happened to her?

I read an article about how Ron Jeremy lept to the top of porn stardom. Apparently he wasn't well known in his early days. Then he did a scene with porn actress Kandy Barbour in one of her first (or maybe her first movie). Anyway, Kandy Barbour later complained in an interview that she never even met Ron Jeremy before their scene together and that when she first saw him she was revolted by how incredibly ugly he was and that if it wasn't for porn, he would never rate a woman as good looking as her. As a result, that whole concept of pairing the ugly Jeremy with hot looking actresses took off.... And a Porn Star was born!!!
p.s. And I met Kandy Barbour in a bar in La-La Land. I think she was hooking but the idea of Ron Jeremy messing with her I sort of found revolting too.

You are correct. She was raised in East Harlem, but was living in Brooklyn when I met her (outside of a BARNES & NOBLE no less!). Nice lady, although she needs to stay away from the Big Macs these days.
One other thing, I know very well a Colombian chick who I now have seen recently on the covers of several DVDs. I actually tried to call her recently but she isn't answering her phone. I think those DVDs were produced about 5 or 6 years ago and just recently came out with her on the cover. I do know this woman lived in the L.A. area back then. I wouldn't flat out ask her if that is her in the DVDs but I did want to question her in a subtle way as to what she was doing in L.A.. Maybe I will if she ever gets around to answering her phone. She currently works doing cleaning services in homes so might call her about that. Hee! Hee!

I'm positive it is her because of a distinctive shape to her nose. Also she does look about 5 or 6 years younger on the DVD cover which would make sense. You know what? I think I am going to call her RIGHT NOW!
Okay, I just now called her. However, I got her crummy answering machine again so I left a message. Somehow, I think she has been lying low since that DVD (actually two such DVDs) came out. Perhaps she thought she could do a little porno for the money, never dreaming she would appear on a DVD cover a few years later.
The only taboo name in the business is my favorite (shhhhhhhhh).......Traci Lords. She didn't have to act, she enjoyed it too much.
According to a post I just checked in the UseNet archives on Deja.com, porn star Seka was hooking in Chicago 10 years ago for $1000 a pop. The author of the post claimed he paid the price and that it was worth it. I heard the same rumor about Vanessa Del Rio. I will check on her in Deja as well.
