Um, Mr Marron, send your 18 year old out to rent a car anywhere and call me with the results. Depends on where you are - it's illegal to refuse to rent a car to any licensed driver 18 or over in New York.

Age discrimination done as company policy is one thing, but we're talking about state law and that's a government issue.
