"We can lay the entire Middle East mess at the feet of Jimmy Carter."

That is nonsense. Carter may have sucked as a president, but he did not cause all of the problems in the Middle East.

Jimmy Carter was trying to portray himself as a man of peace. The real truth is that he didn't have the backbone to do anything. He just allowed himself to be pushed around.

I hope I have not been misunderstood. Dynamite is a good thing. I just find it hypocritical that the Idiot should have accepted a peace award coming from a fortune that invented dynamite.

Well, all hell broke loose when Carter brought down the Shah of Iran. This further helped to destabilize the rest of the area. This is far from "nonsense."

The whole shit and mess happened right after the Iranian revolution!

Carter adminstration could back the Shah of Iran and prevent the whole mess.

They will need outside help before there is an inner collapse. You can bet they are already getting some.

I would imagine the Iranian Kurds would be able to find some help from their cousins across the border.

Along with a bunch of AK's and RPG's that used to be in Sadaam's stockpiles

Plus maybe some helpful SF trainers...

Insurgency is a game that can work both ways

Payback's a b**ch, isn't it?

The revolutionaries that overthrew the Shah of Iran had a lot of outside help. There were a lot of different dialects heard from people carrying assualt weapons.

We need Oliver North, calling Ollie calling Ollie, time to ship a little something to Iran. This time send it to the Pro Democracy Students. Things like silencers, c4, grenades, mortars, rifles, claymores......
