This was published in the front page of the campus fishwrap. But in the center section of the paper was a color two-page spread entitled: Is Ward Churchill a Free Speech Fraud? exposing him as the POS loser that he is, and in large font displaying www.ward-churchill.com, a site that parodies and exposes this charlaton.

As the article states, he will be in Cheney (sixteen miles from Spokane) on April 5th. Anyone up for a FReep, freepmail me.

As a graduate of Eastern Washington University, (I received my BA and MA at EWU) I'm truly appalled that the university would even consider bringing this charlatan on campus. Until reading this post, I thought the issue was dead and that he wasn't coming to EWU. I call out to all EWU alumni to express your anger over the mear chance that Churchill could be invited to speak. Let the university know your feelings.

Even though EWU is in conservative Eastern Washington, like any university there are a number of Liberal profs and staff. I can remember in 1986 as a courtesy telling one of my profs I would miss his class the next day because I would be in Spokane to see President Reagan who was visiting. Believe it or not, the prof questioned why I would want to miss something important like his class just to go see Reagan. I wasn't skipping out on a test or anything like that, just a 45 minute lecture. I along with many other Young Republicans went to see the President anyway. I certainly hope the EWU Young Republicans are still active and have a heyday with the Churchill supporters.

"Almost every university in the United States has a school of business, and what do they teach? They have got faculty members who teach how to bust unions. They have faculty members who teach how to make your workers work harder for lower wages, and if they protest, how do you suppress them."

WTF???

unions are the reason for outsourcing. outsourcing began when union salaries and benefits exceeded the contribution to the products.

this began after ww2, when union membership peaked.

it was then that american corporations started producing products in asia.

example of a union job that cannot be outsourced: a friend of mine worked for international bakery as a delivery man to supermarkets. he retired at age 57 and receives a pension and health care. he's now 85 years of age.

he's received a union pension and health care for more years than he worked.

include that into the price of your twinkie or wonder bread.

So out of 9700 students, 300 showed up. Did Churchill also bring his own entourage? (I had to look up the University as had never heard of it being on the other coast).

However his comments at:..." a sold-out San Francisco audience on March 25, Churchill elaborated on his WTC comment, saying Eichmann was a banal technocrat serving an evil system and so were the workers in the towers. Musing about the phrase "innocent Americans," he asserted: "You can prevaricate. You can rationalize. You can justify. You can do whatever you want -- but the one thing you cannot purport to be if you are a conscious being in any sense at all in this country is innocent."

" Near the evening's end, he described lying in bed at night with "delightful visions ... of Madeleine Albright, Jesse Helms, and Henry Kissinger all in a nice neat little row with nooses around their necks."

This guy has soaked up too much acid ..rain!
