Jackasses. This is why, despite the fact that the US has expansive precious metal reserves, all the mines are moving to South America. It doesn't save the environment, it just moves the destruction and jobs to another country.

The fact is that the US has expansive precious metal reserves, and the mining companies are all foreign owned. True, a good portion of the big ones are Canadian. However, most are also publicly traded companies, so they are no more "foreign owned" than most US based publicly traded companies.
