I say good on her. I've never heard of any actor giving that much to any cause they believed in (and it's a good cause). Most of the time they just throw their name in the promotion of the cause, do some fundraising, give stupid speeches, and give chump change to show they care.

As others here have noted, Natalie Portman just presented the check. The money was raised by the Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization. Maybe she donated more than her time, maybe not.

Well, donating to a hospital makes two positives for her. The other is she is very pretty.

Just about everything else I know about her is negative.

She has one of those faces which occassionally looks downright gorgeous and at other times looks just slightly attractive. She does have a sensual look to me.

Interestingly Hadassah Hospital serves the Arab population of East Jerusalem. Which is no more relevant to Portman's generosity than her political opinions.

You get no argument from me about illegal aliens, I agree with you. I just didn't understand how it fit into this thread, I guess.
