The real scandal is that these people have been allowed to use their "ordained-and-still-in-good-standing" status to spread lies. It's even worse than the claim of the death-loving politicians that they are "practicting Catholics" because they show up for communion photo-ops at election time.

"Father" Drinan should have been defrocked and excommunicated a long time ago. The press is expert at using self-hating Catholics as spokespeople for the Church. It's like using a Holocaust-denying rabbis to speak on behalf of the Jewish community.

I went through 8 years of modern Jesuit education. Besides myself and one other person I know of, practically all of my classmates became secular humanists or at best, cafeteria Catholics. The Jesuits of today are, for the most part, pale reflections of what they used to be. In some cases, they are outright evil. No doubt, their predecessors are not smiling in Heaven:
