Thanks to Pikamax for starting the thread and Howlin with her great coordination.
The next morning, by the time I woke up West Coast time and got to my email , a freeper had sent me the famous email where the changes happened on your screen in front of you.
I immediately emailed that to my select 50 email list. Within an hour, people were getting back to me asking where it had come from. When I got back that it had originated on Free Republic, they emailed it out on their lists. Before the day was over, I was receiving that document which showed the fraud in front of your eyes from people not on my email list. Then, I knew that Rather, 60 minutes, CBS and the DNC were in trouble. Some of my younger relatives spent the next few days emailing that changing document to every email address they had.
Again, this reality must be stated. If Jim Robinson had not founded and nutured Free Republic, there never would have been the posters, Buckhead, Pikamax and Howlin. Kerry would probably be our president. This is why we must invest our $'s in Free Republic to keep it viable and capable de BSing the lies of the libs.

As I see hundreds of thousands of people demanding FreeDom in Lebanon, and as I read of the leaders in Egypt, and even Saudi Arabie start talking about FreeElections, I am still humbled by what Jim Robinson started at FreeRepublic, and the man Buckhead who said "look at this."
Free Republic is an incredible entity, that has impacted the American life and political life significantly since the 2000 president election.
Yesterday, I posted a reply to one of the Lebanon threads re the million marchers, that I was looking forward to new free Freepers from Lebanon. Then, they would tell us what has happened there for decades and what is happening in real time w/o MSM massaging their reality/news.
That would be fantastic. Getting the truth in news from FreePers in Lebanon long before MSM could get it and suppress it or twist it.

We probably have Freepers with relatives and friends in Lebannon, and when it is safe for those in Lebannon to start using the internet, we will probably see threads and replies from Lebannon.
This direct reporting from real individuals without the MSM suppressing or twisting it, scares the hell out of the elite limo liberal mediots who control the MSM.

I'm sure that eventually many master's thesis and phd thesis will use this data to document what happened re Rathergate.

"It's amazing how something can be covered and dissected on the internet by the time MSM decides to investigate it!"
In years past the MSM used its other weapon against the truth, and that was the deliberate spiking of news or just ignoring it.
The MSM still tries to spike the real truth/news, but with the internet and conservative talk radio, the truth gets out. Now when they do a so called investigation, most of it is whitewash and deliberate potshots Free Republic, conservative blog sites and conservative talk radio. This arrogance is destroying them as former users of their bias go to other sources.
Below is a great example of the news we can get on Free Republic which often is spiked/ignored by the MSM.

23 dead as Philippine forces storm prison to end Islamic militant revolt
Twenty-three people including three top leaders of an Al-Qaeda-linked Islamic group have been killed when Philippine police stormed a maximum security prison to end a day-old revolt. Around 300 heavily armed special forces police firing tear gas and automatic rifles took part in the operation at Camp Bagong Diwa prison in southeastern Manila, where three prison guards and two inmates were killed in a jailbreak attempt Monday.
